A beer and bike-loving brewery that started in Raleigh a decade ago now has a second location on the ground floor of the Beckon Building in downtown Durham’s warehouse district. Crank Arm isn’t just a fun place to grab a quality craft beer, it’s also a place for people to connect with a community that likes to stay active through regular group bicycle rides, runs, dog walks, yoga classes and more.

Both IPAs I had were tasty. Place had a cool vibe. Seems like they have activities most every night they are open. Would go back again if Im in the area.

They brew a great variety of beers - from pilsners to DIPA to sours to red ales. Very friendly bartenders always happy to give you a sample. Large space easy to get a seat. No kitchen but you can bring your own food and there are food trucks parked on weekends. Dog friendly inside and out!

The space is really cool— so many huge gears. Even the beer sampler came on a gear tray. Great beer. Great atmosphere. Really enjoyed the visit. Will go back.

Great selection of delicious beer and craft cocktails, awesome staff, and great vibe! Walking distance to DPAC, only a mile from the bulls stadium, and surrounded by great restaurants that are a short walk away! A must visit!
