Very interested with needs of the children and families and big on balance between education and extracurricular.

My great granddaughter loves it there. She goes after school for about 2 hours a day. The have crafts, science classes, and get to interact with others in a non threatening atmosphere. They are open on days when teachers have a workday as well. The fees are reasonable.

Love the Amazing Leadership Staff and Instructors!!! They Love children and now have a beautiful facility to operate within!!!

I can't say enough great things about the Boys and Girls Club of Durham and Orange County! This organization has been an absolute blessing for my family. From the moment we walked in, the staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful—always greeting us with warm smiles, answering questions patiently, and going out of their way to make sure every child feels welcome and supported.
My kids look forward to going every day. They come home excited about the activities, homework help, sports, arts and crafts, and life skills they’re learning. It’s not just a place to hang out; it’s a nurturing environment that builds confidence, fosters friendships, and helps them grow into responsible young people. The programs are well-organized, safe, and truly enriching.
If you’re looking for a wonderful place for your children to go after school or during the summer, I highly recommend the Boys and Girls Club of Durham and Orange County. They truly care about the kids and make a positive difference every single day. We’re so grateful to have them in our community!
