The creators behind Namu, Bulkogi, and The Can Opener are at it again with a new craft coffee and ice cream shop, Baekho, located inside The Makery at Boxyard RTP. Specialty teas, handcrafted drinks, and local ice cream (starting July 2025), give this destination additional appeal for those working or visiting this lively area of RTP. Bonus: Grab delicious Korean BBQ from Baekho’s sister spot, Bulkogi, upstairs, or any of the other local eateries in the vicinity.

Cute little coffee window at Boxyard. The coffee is really good! I really enjoyed the flat white.

Boxyard is a fun environment too! It's kid and pet friendly. Plenty of parking in the mornings!

They had a nice selection of cakes, but the only one that seemed to go with breakfast was the lemon cake. Not a lot of food options. The TV screen menus were hard to read in the morning because the sun was shining on them; fortunately they had paper menus.

Everything was served in a ToGo paper cup.

Alex, the barista, was really nice, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She also made delicious coffee! It was a perfectly pulled espresso shot using Counter Culture beans.

Delicious and creative coffee options! I had the Yuzu Citron drink (espresso + something sparkling and cold) & cherry ice cream. Love that the cherry ice cream has actual cherries in it! I’m excited to return and try more items from their menu. Their window is located along the walkway leading to the parking lot.

I stopped by the other day for the first time and the place is GREAT! I had so many questions but Rachel was so friendly and had all the answers. I tried the Butterscotch latte and it was amazing! Definitely recommend trying this place out.

Such a lovely café experience! The service was absolutely wonderful and so friendly — it truly brightened our day. Exactly the kind of service you hope to receive when visiting a café. We had two cold brews, one with oat milk and one with regular milk, and both tasted great. The atmosphere outside the café was also lovely. Even though it was raining, the café provided us with umbrellas so we could place our order without getting wet. Would definitely recommend this place! ☕️🤍

I brought my boyfriend here and we had a great time. I got the cloud nectar drink which was amazing and so fun!! I love all the different seasonal drinks they offer and the staff is always so friendly! Special shoutout to Rachel who served me! She was great!!
