The Bulkogi food truck was founded in 2009 by the So family with the vision of bringing Korean culture and cuisine to the streets of the Triangle region. One of the first major food trucks to operate at the time, Bulkogi has been beloved for years for the authentic Korean barbecue taste and fusion menu. One of the anchor tenants in Boxyard RTP, Bulkogi is now available in the Research Triangle Park in a shipping container space located on the second floor. Please always check their website for the most up-to-date hours they're open.

My husband and I got one beef bibimbap with fried rice and an extra fried egg and we shared it. We both had plenty of food and enough left over for us to both eat it again. It was so good! I usually need to add salt to my food, but it was perfect the way it was. I got a cup of the bibimbap sauce and tried it on a few bites. It was pretty good and I was expecting it to be spicy, but it wasn't at all, but the food didn't need any sauce added to it. It was better on it's own.

Delicious Korean BBQ. The portions are large! Can take some time to get the food during busy hours but worth the wait. Conviniently located in boxyard RTP with live music and great athmosphere.

This was my first time visiting their physical location as I’ve had their food truck location. The food was amazing. I always get the Bibimbap and it never disappoints. Wish they were closer to where we live… this would be a weekly staple!

I got a custom Korean BBQ bowl and it was delicious! The portions were large, about 1.5 meals for me. You order on a computer so it’s easy to customize the dishes. The menu is fairly limited but they have one posted outside. Most people got takeout as there is plenty of outdoor seating in the boxyard on a gorgeous day. I would eat from again.

The food was good and portions were impressive. It just didn’t strike me as very authentically Korean. But the seating and ambiance were nice. Seems like a majority of the orders are to go tho, not many people dining in. Good portion for the price, can’t complain there! One star taken off because the rice was kinda mushy.
