What a lovely space! We were out there for a children's program storytime and really liked the space. The rocking chairs were lovely, the bathrooms numerous and well kept and easily accessible (with potty training children this is a concern). And the options for purchasing food and drink were exactly the right amount and variety. We are sure to come back again.

This place is pretty cool. Lots of places to sit and chat or work. Wish they had some additional restaurant options, but I also understand that it's a tough time for restaurants right now. I'm interested to see how this place shapes up in the long run. I could see myself spending a lot of time here.

It's a very different experience.. I love dogs I just don't want to eat with them. This place had dogs in the eating area's and that's fine but everyone doesn't want dogs in their eating area. The day we visited it rain so be prepared for that. The food and drink choices seem a bit pricey for just seemingly pizza and beer. All considered it was a decent place..

Nice vibe from all the people, on Thursday night. Can't imagine what this places is like on Friday or Saturday. Had a couple of good draft beers from local breweries. Got some decent appetizers, too. Great place to come and hang out with friends or coworkers.

I love this Little cute and eclectic piece of Durham called the Boxyard! I love how there are so many options to choose from to eat and drink and there are a few retail shops as well! There is a place there on the ground floor that sells grilled beef brisket and pulled pork. Their food is great! The beef brisket, pulled pork and macaroni and cheese is not to miss!!!! They always have something going on whether it's for the kids or for adults, you'll just have to look up their schedule. But even if there's nothing going on, it's just a great place to socialize and get great food!

It's a great space. It reminds me of an outdoor food court. There were lots of restaurants and tables to choose from. Then I went they had a live band playing on a stage which was nice. I will note that there were very few indoor seating options available so during extreme heat or cold you may prefer to get your food and go. I've only sampled the food from Lawrence BBQ, and it was delicious but also pretty pricey. As an example I purchased the two meat sampler and seasoned french fries with no drink and after tax and tip it was over $23. I also purchased a cookie and a cupcake from one of the places on the second floor and they were $5 each.

The atmosphere is unlike any place I've been to! There are multiple restaurants within the location. This visit I tried the Pizza place, the food was very good, definitely recommend. The only reason this is 4 and not 5 stars is that the live music was incredibly loud and we were unable to hear each other when speaking. But I would still highly recommend a visit! It's definitely worth it.

This is a great place to hang out with friends. They have live shows like music or comedy shows often, and you can grab beer and a pizza and enjoy it! It’s outdoors so it’s great for days with good weather. The architecture is modern and there’s two floors so you can easily find places to sit. I got the Korean bbq bowls which tasted great (make sure to get lots of napkins) and the fries/pizza place are a go-to! They gave a lot of food for portions. They also played great music in the background- I was vibing. 10/10 would come here again for a nice lunch or date night!

Great space that felt less crowded than it was. Food selections are great. BBQ tends to sell out quickly. I do wish that more of the places stayed open until 9- if you want anything sweet- you have to get there early.

Great location in the heart of RTP close to many offices around. Nice open spaces with two levels and many choices from various restaurants -we tried the Korean place. Fusion Korean with American style and taste reasonable with large portions for lunch. So convenient and close by.. will hz d to come back to try other places

The idea of this place is fantastic. Since the shops are shipping containers most of the seating is outside under a tin roof and some market lights. Fullsteam is the perfect restaurant for this area and I'd love to see more like it. Try their pizza! Otherwise there are currently too few food options and they close surprisingly early.

Honestly, this place is still in beta testing. As much as the concept is cool, the execution is not. Every Friday I have been here they have run out of food and lines are far too long to get a drink from one of the limited number of places they have. Tonight Fullsteam had a power outage (which seems to have been an issue for a couple of days) and nothing on tap was available just a small selection of cans. I would also complain that the hours are ridiculously short, but if they don't have supply to last until 7pm it's actually a benefit. The stage area is good, the roster of musicians who play here is diverse and interesting, the seating is fairly plentiful, the parking is ample... but if, when you are open, nothing is available and half the other stores only open in the daytime, then it's a wasted journey. You can just go to any surrounding brewery that actually has food and drink and a short wait. It's amazing that with so many individual vendors in one place that they repeatedly don't have anything available. Failing to meet demand once may be an unexpected surprise, twice might be a work in progress, but three times? Four times in a row? Boxyard need to fix the supply and demand problem quickly. If that means calling up a few food trucks to supplement the on-site food offerings between 5 and 8, then do it. Until then only visit here weekend evenings if you eat or drink elsewhere first.

I'm starting to really dig this place. The vibe is chill. It's kind of like a big food court at a mall, but without shops. There are great food and drink options, and it's outside! But heated so maybe with a jacket in the 30s and 40s you could still enjoy it. Spring thru Fall it's probably fantastic. My favorite night at Boxyard is Wednesdays, to play board games, of course.

It seemed like a nice place, but was very crowded. In essence, the restaurants are food trucks in a permanent stall. They all close fairly early. Most ran out of food when we were there at 7 pm on a Friday with the one that did not warning of an hour delay in getting food. We'll give it one last shot, but definitely not on a weekend!

Already so happy that a friend of mine recommended coming here! It is literally one of the most unique spots I have ever been to! Repurposing box cars for restaurants, bars, and shops is so cool! I love that the spots are local, there are plenty of places to sit, and that dogs are welcome and encouraged! Wow! I cannot wait to come back and bring friends and family with me!
