I surprised my husband with a local night away. We usually would stay at a hotel on Franklin St. and walk to dinner. However this will be our new local get away. You cannot beat the price for all the great amenities and 5 star service from the owners. The breakfast was delicious! I wish I had thought to take a picture for this review. I do not have anything negative to say.

My wife and I stayed at the Areowhead Inn to celebrate our 16th anniversary. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the staff was engaging and knowledgeable, and the room was beautiful. If you are looking for an escape that is close to Durham and Chapel Hill, this is your spot. Breakfast was delicious, and the Inn is gorgeous. Highly recommend, and I would go back.

We had a delightful stay at the Arrowhead Inn. After a long drive, we felt welcomed and immediately relaxed in the Inn and in the Lipscomb room. Ron met us and shared some of the history, local spots for food, and all about the stay we anticipated. He was so helpful in addressing the questions we had. Spending a night in a piece of US history was rich, restful, and engaging! We will certainly stay again!

Amazing B&B in a historic nicely renovated 18th century house with a beautiful garden. Spacious rooms with vintage furniture and modern amenities designed with great attention to the detail. Tasty and plentiful breakfast. Can't think of a better place to stay. 10 out of 10.

A nice change of pace from the usual higher end hotel. Quaint and quiet rooms, friendly, helpful but unobtrusive staff. Well kept grounds with gazebo seating. Breakfast served promptly. Of course as an historic mansion there is no elevator, so keep that in mind when choosing your room.

We first stayed at the Arrowhead Inn on our Wedding night and had not been back since. We were celebrating my wives high school reunion and decided to revisit the place. This time we went for the Lipscomb room, which is the original master bedroom for the house. We also had enough time to see the spectacular grounds. All in all it was a wonderful weekend, being pampered in style. The food was quite good and the room was magnificent. Our only complaint was the height of the bed. My wife is rather short so getting in and out was a challenge.

Arrowhead Inn is such an awesome place for any occasion, right outside of Durham and Raleigh. One of the most gorgeous B&B grounds we've seen, and the rooms are a perfect balance of old charm with modern luxury. Beyond the property, the innkeepers Ron & Stephanie are super nice; they really made us feel like we we're family just stoping by for the weekend. I would highly recommend to everyone. We will be back soon, while in town for football at NC State (Go Pack)!

The perfect place for my wife and I to spend our first night after our wedding. Our wedding was in the evening and Arrowhead was kind enough to organize an extremely late check-in for us and communicate with me via. text with the late check-in instructions. The room was amazing and I honestly wish we could have stayed longer. My father surprised me and my wife with chocolate strawberries in the room through Arrowhead and they were awesome. The breakfast the next morning was incredible and we took an opportunity to walk around their property and it was really great. Like I said, even though I live in Durham, I'd love to stay here again!
