The Arrowhead Inn is a romantic Durham bed and breakfast in a restored 18th-century plantation located on six acres of lush gardens and lawns. There are seven spacious guestrooms in the historic manor house along with a separate English Garden Cottage and Carolina Log Cabin. We stayed in the cabin and it's beautiful. Loved the whirlpool tub and steam shower! Lots of luxuries. Very comfortable sitting/bed. Beautifully landscaped and lit up at night with soft music in the gazebo. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to the cabin. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our staff at The Arrowhead Inn. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, quiet and cozy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The location of the Inn was perfect and it was really nice to sit outside in the yard area and enjoy the beautiful grounds and the wildlife.

The Arrowhead Inn Bed and Breakfast is a hidden treasure. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The cottage was perfect and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. There were lovely accommodations and fine details of spa vibes with the hot tub in our room and the steam shower. We ordered a gorgeous cheese and fruit plate, as well as flowers- both exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was incredible! We were celebrating our 22nd anniversary and everything was lovely. Thanks to everyone who made our time there so special! We will be back!

We adored our stay at the Arrowhead Inn- from the owner’s warm welcome to the small touches in our room and all around the beautiful and diverse grounds. Everything was intentional and extremely clean. Breakfast in the Keeping Room was the perfect level of elevated and laid back. Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic B&B. The location was quiet with a garden that induced reading and visiting. 6 acres of solitude laid out with benches and chairs.
The breakfast was excellent! Location couldn't have been better. It allowed us to visit Durham bit have the peace and quiet we were looking for.
We highly recommend this B&B and if we are in the area again, this will be the place we stay.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Arrowhead Inn, a delightful bed and breakfast; we can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Our host was gracious, made us feel at home.
The room was beautifully appointed—clean, cozy, and full of character. Small touches like fresh flowers, chocolates, and plush linens made it feel extra special. The property itself is equally lovely, with a peaceful garden, stunning views, and a quaint sitting room.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight—delicious, homemade, and served with care. The quiche with fresh fruit and a great selection of juices was wonderful!
Whether you’re looking for a romantic weekend, a quiet solo retreat, or a base for exploring the area, this B&B is a perfect choice. We will absolutely return and recommend it wholeheartedly.

I was impressed with the house. It still had an old feel with all the amenities of new.
Breakfast was phenomenal each morning with very personable and great energy staff.
Very private if you want. Helpful if you need it.
Beautiful back yard. And huge trees out front.
The location was perfect for our stay.

Arrowhead was the perfect getaway location for our wedding. We stayed in the cabin which was a beautifully decorated with a rustic appeal but featured modern touches like a steam shower, refrigerator, microwave, and lots of power outlets. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed exploring the grounds and speaking with the owners who were quick to cater to our needs wherever they could. We have already talked about staying there next year for our first anniversary.
One minor drawback is the road noise, though the owners have taken steps to block the noise via trees and fencing, unfortunately many loud trucks and tuned cars made lots of noise during our stay. Nothing disturbed our sleep, but it took away from the seclusion and ambience of the grounds.

This property and the grounds are beautiful! We stayed in the private cottage and loved every detail from the snacks to the bedding and plush spa robes. The in-room jacuzzi and dual head shower were awesome additions to a perfectly relaxing weekend.
We were greeted upon arrival by owner Ron who made us feel instantly welcome. In the morning, he delivered a delicious, fresh cooked breakfast his wife Stephanie prepared to our front porch. The homemade blueberry croissant French toast was outstanding! Ron was happy to share the history of the Inn as well.
Everything about this Inn and our experience there was ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A beautiful historic inn with very comfortable, elegant rooms and baths. Common areas are lovely with antiques and historic photos and prints on the walls. The grounds are spectacular with magnolia trees, flowering plants, gazebo and welcoming patios. Location is about 20 minutes from Duke campus -- it's not a place from which you can walk to restaurants, etc. It is comfortable and beautiful; breakfast for our group was pretty "fancy" though probably more than was necessary! Owners were attentive and helpful.

This is a fantastic bed and breakfast! The historic house is so well maintained. They've kept all of the historic character but have also added in modern amenities. The backyard is amazing and a great place to relax. Anyone coming to the Durham area should stay here!

This was our wedding venue. We loved it. The owners were very accommodating. The grounds were beautiful. The only downside was the catering. Both entrees were dry, and food was cold since chafing dishes were not used. If you can, use someone other than their suggested caterer. Other than that, we’d highly recommend Arrowhead Inn as a wedding venue.

We chose Arrowhead Inn for a birthday weekend. We loved the history of this place and were promptly greeted by our hostess who told us we were staying in one of the original rooms in the house (bonus!). The room was clean and cozy complete with fireplace and little packages of snacks and a bottle of filtered water. We were able to easily refill the bottle from pre-filled bottles in the dining area. The breakfasts were amazing! Each morning there was a fresh fruit cup with a pastry and followed by a warm dish. They offered 4 different juices, coffee and tea to drink. The owner came around and visited with the guests. The property was decorated so quaint! We absolutely loved it! It's about a 20 minute drive to downtown Durham, totally worth the extra drive.

My wife and I loved it... always a delicious breakfast.. We loved relaxing in the hot tub... My wife especially loved the history and the surrounding area had many places to hike..... We had a great couple of days to relax. It was close to Durham and good restaurants.

We were in town for an event and stayed the night at Arrowhead Inn. It was probably the best experience I've ever had staying anywhere. Not a single stone was left unturned, I can't think of a single thing they can do better. We will definitely be back!
