Along the lines of staying fueled while exercising and having a good time, Wheels Skate Park has officially reopened with a full-service café for snacks and beverages. (No outside food or drink is permitted.) While a roller skate park is a stretch for “dining out,” it’s a great place for families and friends to meet up for a fun outing and classic snacks like pizza, nachos, pretzels, slushies and cotton candy.

Great time! The facility is well maintained and clean. I absolutely loved getting photos against the neon paint. The colors really pop! They were out of a few of the food items but what they did have was good.

My son and I visited Wheels Skating on February 19 for their Black History Trivia and R&B/Retro Hip Hop Night, and overall we had a really good time! We also met up with a friend who was celebrating her 50th birthday, so it made the night even more special. The evening started off a little slow and somewhat unpredictable, but once the DJ arrived, everything picked up and the energy completely shifted. The music set the vibe, and the R&B and retro hip hop selections really brought the crowd to life. It was great seeing everyone enjoying themselves on the floor.
I have to give a special shoutout to the staff they were extremely polite, accommodating, and friendly from start to finish. Their positive attitudes definitely added to the experience.

Despite the slow start, the night recovered beautifully, and we left smiling. We’ll definitely be back for another themed skate night!

Our school just wrapped up a fundraiser at Wheels Durham and I cannot recommend them enough! If you’re looking for a venue that actually makes the planning process enjoyable, this is it.

Working with Navaeh was an absolute dream. She was incredibly responsive, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled. Her communication was so efficient that it took all the stress out of the booking process. She is truly amazing and was so helpful from start to finish.

The facility itself is fantastic—it’s spotless, well-maintained, and has an impressive amount of room. The layout provided more than enough space for our large fundraising group to move around and enjoy the event without feeling cramped.

A huge shout-out to the rest of the incredible staff as well! Everyone from the security team and the check-in desk to the cafe crew and the DJ was top-notch. They were all so helpful and friendly, ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes.

If you are planning a fundraising event for a school, organization, or cause, I HIGHLY recommend Wheels Durham. Five stars all the way!
