Westover Park is a lovely neighborhood retreat. There are shady spots to be comfortable in as well as places with Sunshine the park backs up to the Ellerbe Creek and the Ellerbe Creek Trail. There is a lovely little playground with swings and climbing structures for young children to enjoy. They also have picnic tables and a grill. The park is wheelchair accessible, as well. Although there is no Dog Park, it is a park that is friendly for dogs on leash.
