The atmosphere is stellar. Our server I believe was new (might have that wrong) and she was outstanding. Met the director. She's very knowledgeable, knows her ish, and is gonna take this place to the stratosphere. Drinks are well made too. Visit this place. You won't be disappointed.

My partner and I visited and experienced their whiskey and bourbon tasting! The mill is absolutely beautiful inside, tons of space and tastefully decorated. The tastings were $10 and $16 each and consisted of 4 different tastings (8 together). The bartender that explained our tasting was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the history of the spirits.

Such a cool spot! The bartender was awesome. The drinks were delicious and the food was good too. It’s a huge space with lots of comfy seating. Would be a sweet location for a party of some sort. They have curtains that can divide the space up. Will definitely be going back!

Every time i come here the folks behind the bar are super friendly. They are very knowledgeable and dont hover. Great place to hang out at and have a couple expertly crafted drinks at. Not a whole lot of people know or care to know of this wonderful establishment. The price is worth it.

Weldon Mills, I had such high hopes for this space considering it’s based in my home of Halifax County and I knew the space in Durham. The space actually used to be a social club/co-working space. So, I had high hopes after knowing what it once had been. I went with a friend after work and as soon as I walked in, I was like “Oh …this is different”. As it should be right? But to me it seemed a bit cold and void. I don’t know if the word is out about this spot or if it was just an off day (Thursday) but for the three hours we were there (5-8) I believe there were a total of eight people, during that time. We asked if we could do samplings of their bourbon… and we could. So we did a sampling of bourbon and tequila. My friend thought the bourbons were alright and the tequilas were all flavors except for the Blanco. I think my fav was the hibiscus. We also ordered a charcuterie board which was nice but small. So we ordered, wings and burnt end pork belly with red potatoes. When the pork and potatoes came out we both looked at each other. The bellies were not burnt like you would have imagined, and they were encircled by the red potatoes which were sliced like apples and could be easily mistaken if you were unaware .. to the point we joked about it The potatoes were cold to boot. The wings were a sweet dry rub but the skin, in my opinion, needed to be cooked just a bit more for my liking … it almost made the chicken seem not all the way done, but it in fact was. All in all, I think the space is much bigger than what they need…. I don’t think it’s being used or sectioned for maximum impact and needs “warmth”.
