Im a clean freak so my expectations are high, the room could've been cleaned a lil better but overall it was great! The ladies at the front desk are very friendly and helpful, along with the shuttle drivers. It was a walk away from Duke hospital, which is what I needed. I would've gave full 5 stars if the room was pristine clean.

The University Inn offers clean rooms, comfortable beds, updated baths and great service. The convenient location is a plus, just around the corner from Duke Hospital. This is a small updated boutique style hotel offering free coffee, free parking, and a small laundry facility for travelers. Highly recommend!

Amazing huge rooms,good location, and cleanliness, good parking. I've stayed many places in Durham near Duke hospital due to a medical condition and this will be my go-to from now on. I only had two issues the bed I was in squeaked and the fire alarm battery was dead and it woke me up before dawn and there was no one there that could put in a battery so I had to listen to it chirp very loudly until the day shift guy showed up and he handled it quickly.

Perfect for an overnight trip to Duke Hospital. Bigger rooms than I expected. Close enough to Duke if you want to get a little exercise and walk but they also do a complementary shuttle. Everyone was beyond nice as well. Is this a Durham thing? 💜

Great location for access to Duke Hospital - walking distance and
can avoid having to use the hospital parking garage. But if you're used to a plush bed, you'll be sore after one night. It was convenient for it's location but after two nights I can't wait to get back to my own comfortable bed.

I had an appointment at Duke. It was within walking distance, which was wonderful! The room was simple yet immaculate. It's just the perfect place for a short stay. Every employee I came across was friendly and helpful.

Amazing service and great amenities. Very clean. TV is small, but who watches it anymore. Internet was solid. No breakfast, but coffee is free all day and there's a selection of several items from snacks to frozen meals.
The shuttle was absolutely amazing and the driver is a joy! Was there for medical stuff and they let us leave our car and came back to get us even though we checked out that morning. 5* just for that.

Coffee bar is great, small selection of snacks etc in lobby. Staff friendly and helpful. Shuttle to hospital was convenient and pleasant. Rooms are adequate and clean. Suggest you bring your own pillows. Easy to order food delivery or Lyft from this location. Only complaint is the parking lot on the even numbers side of the building. The valets are constantly setting off car alarms to find cars. It’s quite annoying after awhile so get an odd number room if possible. Quiet at night during sleeping hours. Parking in the facility itself is a little tight so plan ahead for that. There is a parking garage across the street but not sure if it’s for the surrounding area or something in particular.

Okay this has been one of the best places to stay. The location is perfect reach to all Duke facilities.
Staff was helpful, they have a great shuttle service that helped me out during a thunderstorm to a nearby office.
They have decent snacks and coffee was pretty good too.
The room was SO clean, no issues at all. I think it was the hard floors that made the difference.
I forgot to take a pic of the room but 10/10 will be using this place again for business trips.
