I have been a member for more then 15 years and it was great as long as I was on my feet. When life happened to me this year I lost my job,car and money the church turned their backs on me and my family. I was truly hurt and couldn't get a meeting with the Pastor. I am still going through but I am seeking another church, Union can't pick you up if you don't live close by. I reached out to a few Minister's and since I wasn't a part of their click they couldn't help me. I still want a meeting with the Pastor before I leave. God bless Angela Dunn

Everyone who has read my reviews knows I travel mostly by public transit. Union Baptist sets on the corner of Roxboro St. and Dowd. The 9B will let you off right next to it. This was my first introduction to Union Baptist and didn't quite know what to expect. Pleasantly surprised, I found a cavernous facility with a buzz of activities seemingly going on in every nook and cranny. It was immediately obvious that here was a church that was deeply imbedded into the heart and pulse of the community. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. I was there to seek legal advice from a gathering of legal students from UNC. This being Duke territory spoke volumes about the reach and dedication of this congregation. This facility offers parking, elevators, wheelchair accessible, and an impressive Sanctuary with plenty of seating. I'll make a point of coming back.
