⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 — Better Dine-In Than Delivery Twisted Noodles is in a great spot in Durham, and I wanted to like this place more than I did. I ordered for the first time through Uber Eats and got a steak and peppers bowl along with a chicken and noodle bowl. Visually, the steak bowl was well put together and nicely presented, but the first bite was disappointing. The steak was very dry. Like noticeably dry. Enough to take you out of the experience immediately. I’ll say this though: if I had been dining inside the restaurant, I imagine the staff might’ve been able to accommodate and fix the issue with solid customer service. Unfortunately, on delivery, that option doesn’t exist, so the steak bowl just didn’t land. The chicken and noodle bowl was better. The chicken itself was fine, slightly on the dry side too, but the noodles helped balance it out. Together it was moist enough, flavorful enough, and overall decent. That dish saved the order. My recommendation: • Delivery – avoid the peppered steak • Dine-in – steak might be worth trying so it can be cooked and adjusted properly • Chicken + noodles – safer choice Overall, a 3 out of 5 for me based on delivery. Not bad, but not a repeat order unless I’m sitting inside.

Delicious fresh food. Everything I had was made perfectly and was hot. My waiter was welcoming and prompt, just how I like. I will definitely be back.

Always a great experience. Their food is hot, quick, flavorful—what more could you ask for. Huge portion sizes and always a hit with the family.

Picked up drunken noodles for lunch and it was quite tasty. The heat was just as I requested, but the fried tofu was slightly tough and I would have preferred a little more sauce. However, the amount and variety of vegetables was certainly a step above other drunken noodles I have had.

Dine in | Dinner | $10–20 Food was fantastic. Nothing labeled Gluten-free on the menu, but the waiter told me exactly what was Gluten-free, what could be modified, and what was off limits. Small place, but very relaxed atmosphere. Had this at Dinner yesterday. Would definitely recommend and go back. However, I'm confused about the 93.0 (A) rating - maybe it was an off day when the inspector came? Because the food was delicious.

There are certain dishes here we loved and others that were okay. The portion sizes are massive though and we had tons of leftovers. The potato corn appetizer was tasty but the rolls were very average. The pad Thai was very good. The service was good. It’s a little on the smaller size inside so another table near us was super loud and cackling about everything so it definitely impacted the experience but not the restaurant’s fault. We would come back here now that we know which dishes we really enjoyed.
