Pretty good shopping center. Stores I frequent most often are the cobbler for my shoe repairs, the Indian food market for specialty spices, Sally Beauty supply store, and At Home for my home goods.

It's a great place to see different things, but most of the products-including produce-is unjustifiably pricey.

The parking lot situation over here is less than ideal, though the store selection is decent. The anchor Harris Teeter is one of the older stores, but they're remodeling as of now (it may even be done by the time you read this). There are also a few salons, places to eat, etc, location that definitely serve the little community of Blue Cross, Blue Shield offices just down the road. The theater at the top of the rise is a Durham staple that keeps chugging on through the years, and they're a pretty good on to boot. Fortunately they don't suffer from the layout issues. As a main issue, its tough to make the traffic patterns there the reason for three stars, but if its busy hours, I'd avoid almost everything but the theater. The parking lot can't easily fit the strip mall's customers. Turning out of the location can be tricky if you haven't done it before as one of the ways out is only one way, another goes through an office park depositing you back onto University in an awkward manner, and the other doesn't have a stop light meaning left turns onto MLK out of Parkway aren't an appealing option.
