I had no idea the restaurant changed from Dos Perros to Thaiangle until Valentine's Day when we were downtown and saw it. We've been looking for a good Thai restaurant and may have juat found it.
The decor was very nice and the food was great. We ordered the Chef's special Pacific Rim and Spicy Bamboo with beef. Portions were definitely large. The PaciRim had a good amount of seafood and a hearty amount of beef i. The spicy bamboo. We ordered both hot. The seafood was spicier and great flavor. Drinks were good and decently priced. We had great service and enjoyed our coenwrner table in the bar. The restaurant definitely got busy as the evening went on.
We will be back to try the wings for sure and some of the other dishes. -

Thick rice noodles, stir-fried with eggs, fresh garlic, chilies, onions, broccoli, bell peppers, scallions, carrots, bamboo & basil
The beer was light and refreshing. I did not try the tea. 😂 The gyoza were really good! I love the garlic on top. The were nice and soft and they had the perfect amount of filling. The fried rice had such a good smokey flavor and ever so slight char to it in the best way. My drunken noodles were some of the best noods I have ever had. It had such a great flavor. Sometimes, food will be so good it gives me a few goosebumps. This happened tonight. 😂 I love the texture of the noodles. The flavor was perfect and this is what I will hold my drunken noodle standard to from here on out. I would literally change nothing about them. -
We had a Thai craving and wanted to try this place. The decor, art, and ambience are beautiful and very traditional. I especially loved their art and decorations.
We had to wait quite a long time to be seated. The food was good, but I expected a little more. I felt the masala was too intense and overpowering in the dishes. It was good, but just a bit over-flavorful. The food came quickly once we were seated.
I loved the coconut cake—it was very spongy. The mango sticky rice was warm and tasty, but the mango was not very sweet. Overall, we had a good experience, but I wish the flavors had been more balanced -
We came in for lunch around 11:30. Service was fast, food was great. I ordered Green Curry and it was delicious. Rices were a bit dry. My wife ordered salad with grilled chicken, and one piece was a bit raw, and the chef made her a new one dish. All good 👍

Hidden Gem in Durham!
I’m a little sad I didn’t discover this place sooner. I moved to Durham over 2 years ago and usually had to drive 30–40 minutes to find good, authentic Thai food.
I ordered the eggplant with beef and asked for it extra Thai hot—the spice definitely did not disappoint! The portion was enormous and very satisfying.
The food came out fairly quickly and the service was excellent. It was nice to see everyone working together and helping each other out.
I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai food in the area. I spent a little over $40 for Thai tea, an appetizer, an entrée, and dessert (I was hungry 😊), and it was totally worth it!
