I visited Serena's on a Friday towards the start of lunch hour. It was not the best group experience. The setting was well decorated and almost nostalgic. The location was also convenient. There was almost too much stuff in some areas, like the bathroom. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. I ordered from the lunch specials menu. And then the food ended up probably being the big let down of the visit. While the portion size was pretty big (the picture shows the last third of the sub), the taste was lacking something. The basic sub, Italian sausage, was pretty bland and all the flavors and colors just blended together. And so I asked others who said their pasta was okay but the chicken was not. Another said the chips were good. 🤷🏾♂️ I expected more! Seems like a popular spot. -
Not a lot of vegan/vegetarian options here and they weren’t willing to modify one of the dishes I thought would be easy so that’s a little odd. That’s said, the Kenebec fries were delicious and I’m a fan of free arcade and classic console games. -
Good Italian food at a decent price. They have many different selections from salads to pastas to sandwiches. They also have gluten free options, they do come at an extra cost though. I recommend for a quick bite to eat -
Great potential but horrible service. Our waiter messed up the order and sometimes, didn’t bring food at all. This restaurant is located at convenient place with ample parking. Ambiance is good. Theme is very inviting. Menus is different from regular Italian which is good. They have some great drink and cocktails. But service brings everything down. -
The place is authentic and on point. Great vegetarian substitutes. Perfect place for a an outdoor seating on a date night. The chef was very hospitable. Personal favorite is the Eggplant Caponata and fully recommend the Sicilian flavored martinis and cocktails.
