This sewing class exceeded all my expectations. From the very first session, Markea created such a welcoming, upbeat, and fun atmosphere that learning never felt intimidating. Markea is amazing! Prior to her class I had had my sewing machine for two years and hadn’t used it once. The youtube videos I saw even with just threading my machine seemed over complicated and very intimidating. Markea helped me to realize how much I’ve been in my head as it pertains to sewing because it was so easy. I left the class with a pillow lol and the confidence to really start my sewing journey. I will definitely sign up for more of her classes and I recommend others do as well.

I had a great time at the trial sewing class. We made cute little pillows and learned how to use a sewing machine. Markea is a great teacher and brought fun upbeat energy to the space. Highly recommend!

Markea is the best! I took a beginner class with her. She is so patient, friendly and thoughtful. She took her time to make sure I was getting it. I left one class feeling like I can sew and I had no experience prior. She made the lesson fun and the conversation flowed. I will definitely be back!

Markea is an excellent teacher! The classes are hands on and easy to follow and learn. She takes the time to make sure you are doing the skills correctly and take the time to answer questions. You take it step by step and continue to build skills progressively. I highly recommend these classes!
