I would like to mention a few serious concerns from my stay.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was not what I expected. The toilet was dirty when we arrived, which immediately gave a poor first impression and made the room feel poorly maintained.
Another very upsetting situation happened in the parking lot. I accidentally left my suitcase behind my car in the parking area, and when I realized and came back for it, it was gone. The suitcase had been stolen. This was extremely disappointing and stressful, especially while traveling.
Because of these issues, I strongly believe the hotel should pay more attention to room cleanliness and overall security in the parking area to help prevent situations like this from happening to other guests in the future. -
We stopped by this motel at midnight after driving across the state for a medical appointment. I can’t say enough nice things about the front desk staff they were so nice however…
The room was dirty at first glance it looks ok. But it’s definitely not.
The walls and floors haven’t been cleaned in quite some time other than having been swept.
The bathroom was stained and dirty. If the cleaning crew would get a quality cleaning product and actually put in the effort to clean it would come clean.
The sink didn’t drain.
The air conditioner worked but smelled like mold that you could see on the actual machine.
The bedding was stained but smelled like bleach.
The tv had streaks where it had been went over with what appeared to be a dirty rag.
There were spider webs in every corner.
Yes we should have went straight back down and asked for a refund but we were exhausted.
We always bring our own bedding and cleaning supplies for the bathroom so we just made the best out of the 8 hours we stayed but I definitely don’t recommend it. -
I stayed a couple of weeks ago when I became ill while in Durham. Called ahead and was quoted 64.00 plus 50 for deposit. The guy at the counter took advantage of me not feeling well and charged my card 99.99. I noticed 2 days later but thought part was my deposit. After 2 weeks of waiting I went in and the crook at the counter said your rate eas 99.99. When I asked for my receipt he made a fake one with the wrong date on it. Thats fraud and theft. Obtaining property under false pretense at the very least. DO NOT STAY HERE. CROOKS. Yes I am pursuing legal action as well as filing reports with BBB. State of NC and Red Roof corporate. He was condescending and rude after I told him he had faked the receipt.

This is a basic economy motel. The room was clean with no issues. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge and microwave but I had reserves the economy version and not the deluxe version. We were very thankful for the elevator.

I wish my experience was a genuine as the rest of the reviews. Upon calling j was told a room would be $153 to check in Friday and out Sunday with a $50 refundable deposit.When I arrived j was charged $200 and was told the prices of the room were increased on weekends wich dosent reflect what I was told or what is shown on their website. At checkout I asked for a receipt and was told the printer was down. They used my phone to take a picture of said receipt to no surprise to me at all there was no price of the alleged room increase prices for the weekend, only my total and the card I used. I wouldn’t recommend staying here just because these men aren’t genuine. Overcharging someone who has to stay in a motel in the first place is simply evil.
