It's okay. The place is quite old. The bed linings were clean the bed was nice it was comfortable. Nothing special about the place. I was by myself and when my wife is traveling with me if I go to Durham I don't stay at this place. But it's okay for me as a single guy.
If you're looking for upscale this is not it.
They have a lot of construction workers that stay there. It was quite in the evenings and alter the night there was never a lot of partying or nothing like that.
The staff was congenial. -
I would like to mention a few serious concerns from my stay.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was not what I expected. The toilet was dirty when we arrived, which immediately gave a poor first impression and made the room feel poorly maintained.
Another very upsetting situation happened in the parking lot. I accidentally left my suitcase behind my car in the parking area, and when I realized and came back for it, it was gone. The suitcase had been stolen. This was extremely disappointing and stressful, especially while traveling.
Because of these issues, I strongly believe the hotel should pay more attention to room cleanliness and overall security in the parking area to help prevent situations like this from happening to other guests in the future. -
We stopped by this motel at midnight after driving across the state for a medical appointment. I can’t say enough nice things about the front desk staff they were so nice however…
The room was dirty at first glance it looks ok. But it’s definitely not.
The walls and floors haven’t been cleaned in quite some time other than having been swept.
The bathroom was stained and dirty. If the cleaning crew would get a quality cleaning product and actually put in the effort to clean it would come clean.
The sink didn’t drain.
The air conditioner worked but smelled like mold that you could see on the actual machine.
The bedding was stained but smelled like bleach.
The tv had streaks where it had been went over with what appeared to be a dirty rag.
There were spider webs in every corner.
Yes we should have went straight back down and asked for a refund but we were exhausted.
We always bring our own bedding and cleaning supplies for the bathroom so we just made the best out of the 8 hours we stayed but I definitely don’t recommend it. -
The staff is very friendly and extremely professional. Alex always greets me when a big smile and he is such a loving person and I have grown to love the staff here and I will always come to this location before I stay anywhere else. Alex you Rock 😊

I stayed a couple of weeks ago when I became ill while in Durham. Called ahead and was quoted 64.00 plus 50 for deposit. The guy at the counter took advantage of me not feeling well and charged my card 99.99. I noticed 2 days later but thought part was my deposit. After 2 weeks of waiting I went in and the crook at the counter said your rate eas 99.99. When I asked for my receipt he made a fake one with the wrong date on it. Thats fraud and theft. Obtaining property under false pretense at the very least. DO NOT STAY HERE. CROOKS. Yes I am pursuing legal action as well as filing reports with BBB. State of NC and Red Roof corporate. He was condescending and rude after I told him he had faked the receipt.
