Absolutely adorable bar. I went when there was a DJ playing Afro beats. We got in, but shortly after there was a line out the door of people waiting to enter. Even though the place was packed, the service was excellent and so were the Long Island Iced Tea’s. I will definitely be coming back.

If you’re looking for a place with great energy, great drinks and great staff, you found your spot! I went to Primrose with different groups of friends and all of us had an awesome time!
From the fun decor to the unique cocktails, the attention to detail is impressive!
Special shout-out to Nate that made all our cocktails to perfection while being helpful and friendly.
Will definitely come back many other times!!

Had an issue waiting for a drink just for them to serve two other ppl before me and then tell me they didn’t have all the components to make the drink. Then when I asked a specific bartender to make my drink she tried to refuse until my friend asked her and stated she’ll just pay for everything on her tab since she had it open with that particular bartender. It was then made with an attitude but all in all the atmosphere was pleasant and the drinks were good when they had everything to make it! Most importantly the DJ kept the music flowing and it was such a vibe!

We didn’t have any food, just drinks. The atmosphere was very chill and appropriate for adults. Bartender was fast and efficient with service. DJ was also a very nice touch to go along with the chill vibes. Great spot to take pictures and bring your significant other. Easy to find location and nice restaurants near by. Super plus for being black owned as well.

I would recommend this amazing bar, the atmosphere is very relaxing and refreshing. Love the artwork. The drinks were fantastic. Plenty of drink options. The bartender’s give great customer service. Also the bar owners are Natives to NC, support your local’s. I would come back again.
