I literally order the same thing every time since the grand opening date. My bowl is always refreshing and made with love. Everyone is sooo nice and the service is incredible.

Playa Bowls offers superfruit bowls, smoothies and juices in a FUN, beachy, surf vibe cafe on Ninth Street in Durham. There are SO MANY CHOICES! I loved the 8th Ave and Pink Flamingo Bowls! Everything was fresh, healthy and delicious! Best tasting granola- I love that they put granola on the bottom and the top of your bowl! Go check them out for a healthy, delicious snack!

playabowls durham is my new fav spot for acai bowls. staff were super nice & provided excellent service & my bowl was amazing.. 10/10 would recommend!

I come here 4 days a week ! The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I love the bowls. I do wish the layout inside was different but besides that, 5 stars !

A seriously good Açaí Bowl. Bright and very loud place. Next time I think I will skip the juice, not a quality thing it just took forever, they probably pumped out 25 bowls before I got my juice🤷🏻♂️

I absolutely LOVE Playa Bowls!! I went here two times within the first four days of being open. The açaí bowls are delicious and so well made. The service is also incredible and everyone is so nice. I also love the ambiance of Playa Bowls with fun tables and beautiful murals. I cannot wait to keep coming back and trying more on the menu!! So so delicious and so glad they are here in Durham!

Super excited that Playa Bowl opens in Durham! They have a great variety of options on the menu. The açaí bowl is very fresh, the fruit they use is in great quality, and sweetness level is just right!

Went in on the second day it was open and it was packed! I love that they don’t add sugar to the bases and there are tons of toppings to choose from. I got half açaí, half pitaya because I couldn’t choose, and it was so good! The protein bites were good too. It’s also great that they’re open late for those of us with late night açaí bowl cravings.
