OC Aerial is super fun but I recommend it for experienced and confident climbers only. I am an adult in good shape and it was my first visit. There was instruction for how to operate the equipment but no guidance on the ropes course unless you asked for it. It was the same with all stations that didn’t need to be constantly supervised. Someone less experienced could easily have gotten stuck or hurt and had a bad time. For instance, the entrance to the ropes course is also the exit. I’m glad I didn’t use all my strength to make it across one way before realizing i’d have to make it all the way back to exit!
The snack station was a wreck. BUT everything else was amazing. The slide gives huge airtime. The zip line basketball challenge is super fun and harder than it looks! The warped wall buzzer at the top makes you feel like a true ANW. The vibes of the other patrons was really cool, kind people who enjoy challenges. I loved getting to push myself, get some bumps and scrapes, and enjoy time with my husband out and about! Worth the cost. Staff was friendly. Just could be a bit more beginner friendly (instruction wise) to keep everyone having fun. -
Rock climbing, 2 large slides, zip line, obstacle
courses with various skill levels, ramp. Free popcorn, ice cream, snacks on second level and an area with tables and chairs to watch. They have a small couch and tv with sporting events. Very helpful and friendly staff. We’ve been numerous times and it’s all been a great visit. Two rooms available for party rentals. -
We took our 3 boys (ages 11, 6, and 5) here during a short visit to Durham, and the experience was truly fantastic. Our oldest two kiddos had a blast especially on the slide and zip lines, but also climbing, exploring, and generally getting lots of energy out.
Our littlest tried some things, but was mostly excited about the very fun snack options available in the family lounging area. The staff were super friendly, and we would recommend without hesitation for anyone to check this place out. Beautiful facility, positive experience start to finish. -
My family and 8, all adults, went to OC Aerial on Saturday. We have been watching American Ninja Warriors for 15+ years and were excited to try the obstacles.This is a real ninja’s gym.We got there at 11 and registration was simple and easy to follow. They offer shoes if needed, but they are not allowed on the warp wall. We enjoyed trying all the different courses, including a zip line, large slide and rock climbing walls. The price per adult is for 3 hours and we stayed for 3 hours. It was a lot of fun and they also offered snacks which was nice for a break. The staff was super nice and explained the courses and helped us with our gear. This is a must try if you want to test your skills for the competitive athlete.

Great Environment and staff. The place was clean and the staff was nice. It was my first time and they did a great job instructing me on what to do. The leap of faith was very fun!
