I visited for the first time on 2/13/26. I had the Brisket Egg Rolls and the Hot Honey Catfish Sandwich. When I tell you this was some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. I love catfish and I was not disappointed. I will definitely be going back for more and to try other things on the menu 1000/10❤️

This restaurant is absolutely DELICIOUS! You MUST try the Mozzie Dog, trust me you will not be disappointed! Their spinach is hands down the best I’ve ever tasted! Don’t walk, but RUN to this establishment and be welcomed by the owner and his beautiful wife!

I waited awhile to return… but the last two times the food has been amazing!!
I’d like to talk about my experience at Mozzies yesterday.
March 13, 2025.
Overall it was disappointing.
It wasn’t my first time there. I visited last year and the food was great.
However, yesterday I found the food mediocre at best. We both ordered wing plates.
These plates were almost $20 each and came with 5 wing sections and two sides of approximately 1-2 oz each. The price is hard to justify, especially so close to a black community.
My second issue with the wings was there was barely any sauce on them. The sauce we tried was hot honey and it was really good, like could be sold in stores lol but… there was barely any on there.
The third issue was upon arriving home we found they forgot to put the gravy on the rice. It’s not really up the street so getting a replacement isn’t really a satisfactory reimbursement because 9/10 we won’t be going to get it.
I guess my feedback is this establishment was built off the work of an amazing chef who is outsourcing his cooking a little early in my opinion. I think this is especially true for daytime hours.
This meal was $40 but felt like it was only worth 20. I’m sure that’s not the case when the chef is cooking but just in case unfortunately I won’t be returning or recommending for awhile. -
Stopped by Mozzies Cuisine & Deli and man… the salmon bites and turkey ribs were hitting. The salmon was cooked just right juicy, seasoned, no shortcuts. The turkey ribs had that real flavor, tender and satisfying. This spot knows what they’re doing in the kitchen. I’ll be back for round two.

We had a large order placed today from work! Our food was fresh and hot! We all ordered different items and not one complaint was made! We will definitely be back!! The lemon pound cake is a must try!!
