I waited awhile to return… but the last two times the food has been amazing!!
I’d like to talk about my experience at Mozzies yesterday.
March 13, 2025.
Overall it was disappointing.
It wasn’t my first time there. I visited last year and the food was great.
However, yesterday I found the food mediocre at best. We both ordered wing plates.
These plates were almost $20 each and came with 5 wing sections and two sides of approximately 1-2 oz each. The price is hard to justify, especially so close to a black community.
My second issue with the wings was there was barely any sauce on them. The sauce we tried was hot honey and it was really good, like could be sold in stores lol but… there was barely any on there.
The third issue was upon arriving home we found they forgot to put the gravy on the rice. It’s not really up the street so getting a replacement isn’t really a satisfactory reimbursement because 9/10 we won’t be going to get it.
I guess my feedback is this establishment was built off the work of an amazing chef who is outsourcing his cooking a little early in my opinion. I think this is especially true for daytime hours.
This meal was $40 but felt like it was only worth 20. I’m sure that’s not the case when the chef is cooking but just in case unfortunately I won’t be returning or recommending for awhile. -
Stopped by Mozzies Cuisine & Deli and man… the salmon bites and turkey ribs were hitting. The salmon was cooked just right juicy, seasoned, no shortcuts. The turkey ribs had that real flavor, tender and satisfying. This spot knows what they’re doing in the kitchen. I’ll be back for round two.

We had a large order placed today from work! Our food was fresh and hot! We all ordered different items and not one complaint was made! We will definitely be back!! The lemon pound cake is a must try!!

The wings were by far my favorite !
The owner was very attentive in his business which I love .
The sides were okay , no meat in them which is good for those who don’t eat meat but just wants to try the sides .
The music choice was hitting !
Great price for the Quality on food.
Let me not forget the SALMON sandwich & hotdogs fire 🔥
The best slaw I’ve had and I’m not a slaw person . -
The gentlemen were nice and the food was delicious! Would definitely return for lunch
