I’ve been here several times. The food is always on point & the staff is friendly & helpful. The menu is extensive & continues to expand so I’ll definitely be returning.

10/01/2025 update
I waited awhile to return… but the last two times the food has been amazing!!
I’d like to talk about my experience at Mozzies yesterday.

Overall it was disappointing.
It wasn’t my first time there. I visited last year and the food was great.
However, yesterday I found the food mediocre at best. We both ordered wing plates.
These plates were almost $20 each and came with 5 wing sections and two sides of approximately 1-2 oz each. The price is hard to justify, especially so close to a black community.
My second issue with the wings was there was barely any sauce on them. The sauce we tried was hot honey and it was really good, like could be sold in stores lol but… there was barely any on there.
The third issue was upon arriving home we found they forgot to put the gravy on the rice. It’s not really up the street so getting a replacement isn’t really a satisfactory reimbursement because 9/10 we won’t be going to get it.
I guess my feedback is this establishment was built off the work of an amazing chef who is outsourcing his cooking a little early in my opinion. I think this is especially true for daytime hours.
This meal was $40 but felt like it was only worth 20. I’m sure that’s not the case when the chef is cooking but just in case unfortunately I won’t be returning or recommending for awhile.

That Philly chicken, Salmon, cheese steak is 🔥. A must have. Love those big shrimp 🍤 😋.

Ordered Salmon bites and had an issue about the serving! Not only did the Owner Apologize, he drop me a whole extra order off face! If thats not TOP NOTCH CS I DONT KNOW WHAT IS!

I really love it, the owner is really nice and the food is good. Me and my mom go there a bit but not too much, they do sometimes mess up the orders but it's not common and they are nice too. There is only one person there I don't like because he mostly has an attitude when I didn't do anything. But besides from that it's great. They recognized me when I wasn't with my mom because we poke holes in the top of the container so it doesn't get soggy, but being recognized from that was funny to me.
I would 100% keep going there in the future and maybe work there when I'm old enough to.

Found this place on Google and have no complaints. I enjoyed my entire meal. It is very hard to find someone who can cook turkey chops and they flavored good. I will return again when I come to the area.

I love it there they have the best food ever in Durham NC. The steak egg rolls are my favorite if you are ever in Durham go check them out

Just finished my first of many trips to this place. What an incredible spot. The collards blew my mind. And the hot lemon pepper on the wings was a flavor explosion I highly recommend!

Overall it wasn't bad for my first time. You can tell they're fairly new and still trying to work out some kinks. I had the shrimp basket. Shrimp were big crispy and juicy. Tossed in honey garlic. The fries while well seasoned In some kind of house seasoning were undercooked. I also got the salmon egg roll which was HUGE! Definitely a bang for your buck! I would recommend they serve it with some kind of an aoli to elevate it. The only down side was the egg rolls seemed a little stale on the outside and they could've been seasoned better on the inside. I think the cheese in it took away from the taste of the salmon. But with all that said I'll definitely come back and check out some other things on the menu
