My stay at Morehead Manor was absolutely wonderful. The property was beautiful and located in the perfect area for exploring and relaxing being just minutes from downtown. . Daniel and Monica were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their hospitality made me feel right at home.
I truly enjoyed every moment of my visit and appreciated all the thoughtful touches. I highly recommend Morehead Manor to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable experience while visiting Durham. I will definitely be returning! -
We just spent 3 nights at Morehead Manor and did not want to leave! The house is gorgeous, and the decor is so original and artistic. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite and it was huge! The bed was super comfy and the sheets were amazing. The breakfast was so delicious, we had apple pie this morning! We loved talking with Monica and Daniel. They are so warm and welcoming, and had a lot of fun stories. We highly highly recommend Morehead Manor and plan on visiting again! Thank you Monica and Daniel! -
A gem in the middle of Durham. The space is immaculate. Quiet and calm. A place to rest and relax before your adventures in the area. Centrally located with easy access to many places. (The parking is included in your stay---huge bonus #1)
The proprietors are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful. The fix an amazing spread for breakfast. (Included in your stay--huge bonus #2) and also offer a wide variety of things for a snack and drink during your stay. They are a wealth of information.
This space was the perfect place for a "home base" during our trip. I think everyone should stay here at least once. I promise you will want to come back. -
Morehead Manor was an absolute delight. The accommodations were very comfortable with a wonderful history. Monica served the best breakfast I have ever had. She and Daniel are the best. We could not recommend them more highly. -
Daniel and Monica are amazing hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is extremely clean and comfortable, the inn keepers did a fabulous job retaining the historical charm of the home. They went out of their way to make sure that breakfast met our dietary restrictions while still providing a very tasty breakfast. We plan to go back in the near future.
