The cutest gift shop! I've been following Elyse on Instagram for years and when I found out that she opened a store in Durham, I had to stop in during my visit in NC! Cutest patterns and gift shopping store. And I love supporting local artists! And can we appreciate the quality of the shopping bags when you check out LOL

It was so much fun to shop Elyse Breanne items in a store! I loved getting to test things out myself. The gel pens were so fun! The store is in a very cute area in Durham...even my husband said so when I sent him a picture of the courtyard/building. Plus, it was fun to see Elyse in person after following her journey of her business on Instagram. It was like meeting a celebrity. She was like Oprah handing out gift bags for the soft opening of the store. She was just as sweet and hardworking as she seems in her videos. Her team seemed awesome as well. I already wanted to go back the same day after I'd left!

Here were my favorite items:

-Pen pouches (I use one as a wallet and one for pens and wax seal stuff. I originally got one as a gift, but ended up keeping both and will go back for another one for my friend)
-Gel pens (They're pretty, write well, and nice color ink... although testing them really made a difference in which ones I chose. I love the darker yellow. It can be hard to find a yellow that's easy to read. This one's perfect! I also love the mint green! And it's cute with the yellow and a pink I got.)
-Reusable grocery bags with a pocket (I bought 2 as a gift but decided to keep one because I like it so much)
-The pink t-shirt (which I got free for the grand opening, but I really love it!)

I wish I'd gotten one of the larger zipper pouches. I have a Clinique one I use to store feminine products, but I would like to upgrade to one of these because the patterns are so pretty and would make me even happier at that time of the month. 😂

So thankful for these gorgeous and useful products and very inspired by her story and art! So glad I made the trip out to this store while visiting friends in NC. It was as fun as I had imagined!

Mill & Meadow is a floral-inspired stationary, home goods, and accessory store in Brightleaf Square in Downtown Durham. The designs are created by Durham-based artist, Elyse Burns. There is so much to see! Stationary- planners, notebooks, cards! Home goods- tea towels, oven mitts, hot pads, pillows, blankets, sun catchers and MORE! Accessories- stickers, bags/pouches, keychains, pins, wristlet rings, AND hair and tech accessories! I enjoyed browsing through the store and found the PERFECT 2024 planner!

Such a fun and whimsical stationary store! I love how things are arranged by a color scheme around the store! There are great items for journaling, for teaching, or just for fun! That staff is friendly and helpful. I love that I could wander and browse at my leisure. I wish I lived closer as it's full of very affordable as well as adorable goodies!

My fiancé and I took a road trip all the way to
North Carolina from New York just to visit Mill and Meadow and it was amazing! The shop was so nice, welcoming and had so many nice things. I left with kindle cases, coloring books, stickers, bookmarks, a journal, and so much more! We loved the shop so much that we went back a second day before we left to come back home. Mill and Meadow was definitely my favorite part of North Carolina and I will be going back again. I would also like to mention that Mal and Rebecca are amazing! They were so nice and friendly to me and my fiancé when we walked in. They were always there to always help us or answer any questions we had. They’re just great! Overall, Mill and Meadow is the best shop in North Carolina and you should go visit! Elyse you have a beautiful shop and wonderful staff! Thank you!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
