Stopped here on June 26 after a workout with my personal trainer. Picked up lunch for my husband and I. There was plenty of parking outside and finding the location was not too hard. Ordering was easy but was not sure where to wait as the food was being prepared so after standing and browsing for a bit, I finally just sat down in a booth and waited. The chicken was very very good and I will buy that again. The soup was OK but not my husband's taste. I had the best Greek salad when I was in Greece a few weeks ago. I'll stop again if I'm in the area and try some other things on the menu. Mebane has a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant on Hwy 119 as well. -
Had the Halo Halo which was fine but some of the toppings did taste a bit like refrigerator. It did however come with ice cream and ube paste -
$18 for very little meat and side of baba ganoush. Just lots of rice and a single pita. Tasted fine but was such a miniscule amount. Took forever to get it too. -
Very authentic Filipino food which is rare to find. They have a decent sized Filipino menu and this is a must try for people who are interested in homestyle authentic Filipino flavors. -
we live very close to the south durham location and have been a customer for more than a year and have been happy with the Filipino Food until recently. It seems recently, the proprietor is this young Filipino man and he doesn't seem to care if your order is wrong or you are unhappy. A few weeks ago, we ordered some food to go and I asked for the. tuyo fish BANGUS fish for my wife to go. In the past the BANG has been good. When we got home with the TUYO was not there, but instead some barbecue chicken kebab. This is not what we ordered, and when I called and spoke to this young man, he said well we don't have TUYO on the menu. When we have gotten that there before. I told him what we got was chicken instead and he said kind of "oh well!". offer to make it right in BANGUS was tiny! Today, about a month later, we went back and my wife asked for the TUY he said we don't ! She ordered the BANGUS and it was again this tiny piece for $18 and a lot of rice. This is kind of our because having one bad experience already, we should've checked the order before taking it. We should've asked to see the fish before they cooked it, but you really shouldn't have to all that right?this young man doesn't seem to care that he's giving out really small portions or giving something that you didn't order
