Enjoyed Kahlovera. Very friendly service. Pretty standard menu for what you expect in Durham and food was very solid. Especially enjoyed the huaraches. Worry how they will stay in business with limited availability but easy to drop in with ample parking.

This place is such a hidden gem! Great drinks, great specials, and a fantastic team. Love to come for happy hour after work or for a meal with friends. Hope more people hear about this place and check it out :)

We went here for dinner the other day and the food was great. I had the carne asada and was pretty happy with the dish. We also ordered tacos and they were good as well. The passion fruit agua Fresca was too sweet for my taste. However the michelada was really good!
Today’s order however I wasn’t too happy with. I ordered the pork carnitas for takeout and unfortunately they might have forgotten to add onions and jalapeños as I requested. I am not too mad at but I’m here for a few days and would love to order at least once more before I leave.
Overall the food is really good and decent portions. And hopefully my next order has everything. Otherwise it’s a really good place to eat at or just for takeout. -
