We had to stay overnight in Durham for doctor's visits at Duke University hospital. My last appointment wrapped up early. Check in is at 3pm, we arrived around 2pm, the clerk was able to accommodate early check in! Every staff member was helpful, and pleasant. They were even having free fresh baked cookies that afternoon. The little extra touches were very nice, but what really struck me was how clean and quiet it was.
The lobby was bright, decorated, and very clean. This followed throughout the rest of the hotel. The weight room, pool, and outdoor patio were no exception.

Both my travel partner and I were highly impressed and satisfied with our stay. The location is great, very close to the university/hospital, downtown, and right by i85.

By far the cleanest and quietest hotel I've stayed at for quite some time.

This place is the most thoughtful “non” full-service hotel I’ve ever stayed in ! Well-appointed. Stayed here for a Summer basketball camp. First of all, it’s obviously a relatively new property, which helps. They had good selections in the sundry shop. There were ice makers and even a water bottle refill station. They had washer/dryer units running the Airwallet app - amazing. Good pool indoors and nice outdoor play area. Plenty of parking although they did charge $10/day for “self-parking” (one of the few lame items).

The rooms were nice as well. Bathroom shower had good pressure. Plenty of towels. Beds were comfy. Nice layout. Everything was like a full-service hotel except no room service and 130/night ! I would definitely stay here again and HIGHLY recommend.

This was one of the nicer hotels we’ve stayed in while traveling. The front desk staff was fabulous and check in was so easy. We traveled with our dog and two young kids. Their outdoor space was relaxing with outdoor games for the kids to play and lots of space. One of the best hotel breakfast spreads we’ve ever experienced. Very clean. It is right off the highway so you can hear that at night if you’re on that side of the hotel, we had a sound machine so it didn’t bother us. We will absolutely stay here again when passing through.

A very nice property, convenient to the Duke campus and medical center. The hotel feels new and modern. The common areas (lobby, breakfast area, fitness center, indoor pool, and business center) are all comfortable and attractive. The room was spacious, clean, and adequately appointed (though I found the mattress a little hard). Breakfast was good. Staff were attentive. They even had fresh cookies when I arrived in the evening. Unfortunately, they squandered all that good will in what would have otherwise been a five-star review by adding on a previously undisclosed parking charge (no mention of the charge in the phone reservation). The hotel is adjacent to an interstate, so, of course, you are going to use parking. Duh. This is just an across-the-board BS upcharge to the posted room rate, positioned as a discretionary, user-specific fee. Management knows this, which is why they try to hide it. Parking is arguably the most fundamental amenity to an interstate-adjacent hotel. They might just as well assess a "fee" for towels or sheets or the television in your room. One-star for the dishonesty and for adopting such a stupid business practice. Hopefully, feedback like this makes Hilton think twice before trying to normalize this absurd policy across its chain.

My wife and I stayed here one night while visiting Duke Medical. I asked for, and was graciously given, a floor and room away from "pet" rooms. The room was very comfortable, fine amenities and the included breakfast was excellent. The outside noise (fire trucks, motorcycles etc) was noticeable, however it was very quiet after 9pm with no issues. Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. I am glad to recommend this Hampton Inn! A+
