Our whole family trains self defense jiu-jitsu here! We love ALL of the instructors and trust them with our kids. The classes are always centered around kindness, respect, and helping others. All skill levels are welcomed!

My bestie and I just drove 3 1/2 hours from Norfolk to attend the women's empowered seminar for free. EVERY WOMAN NEEDS TO ATTEND THIS SEMINAR!
Sunny and Dawn & the rest of the instructors were so great to us! The class was interactive and engaging. Then you get the chance to put the moves into a scenario.
I strongly believe that it's too dangerous out there to not learn what was taught today. Take a friend, take your sister, take your daughter JUST TAKE THEM!
I hope you never need to deploy the tactics we learned today, but if someone has nefarious intentions for you, there are ways to get away safely. I know that now. Just a little bit, but more than I knew yesterday.

I love training at Gracie Durham! All the instructors have been very welcoming and eager to share their passions. There is a great atmosphere and it's been super easy to embrace Jiu Jitsu as a beginner. Sunny created a very warm and safe environment.
My 7 year old son started shortly after me. We now share the same passion for Jiu Jitsu and love to go to the gym together!
