Flying Bull Restaurant & Brewery did not come to play. The Brussels sprouts alone had me ready to testify — truly some of the best I’ve ever had. The loaded nachos with brisket were superb, and that brisket melted in my mouth like it had something to prove.
The drinks were on point, too. I loved the beer flight — they have some really good, unique beers, and we were giggling by the time we left. I can’t wait to go back and try the burger… honestly, I’m ready to try anything on that menu at this point.
Our waitress was amazing — super helpful, kind, and gave great suggestions that made the whole experience even better. Flying Bull is definitely a spot I’ll be returning to. -
Amazing meal!!! We ordered the wings (honey sambal, scotch ale BBQ), deviled eggs, and brussels sprouts small plates as usual, and they did not disappoint. First time trying the burger (regular one on the menu, although there are at least 3 different limited edition burgers to choose from at the moment). The patties were cooked to perfection with great flavor throughout. Loved the crispy tater tots side. Everything paired perfectly with our IPAs - the Dancing with the Bulls and Bull in a Bottle Shop were both excellent choices for this entree and honestly just fantastic alone. Topped it all off with an amaretto for dessert, which definitely satisfied the sweet craving while also being somewhat reminiscent of my usual espresso martini. 5 stars for fast, friendly service and a warm upscale casual atmosphere. Definitely a spot I come back to every time I'm in downtown Durham - not my first time, and definitely not my last.

Flying Bull served one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Came here to watch an NBA playoffs game the other night with some friends.
Beer was amazing. Got some of their IPAs which were exactly what i was looking for. Slightly hoppy and not too over powering.
The chicken wings were phenomenal. Favorite was the Honey Garlic Sambal. Also got the pan-seared snapper which was cooked perfectly and had a great sear.

We love Flying Bull - great food, phenomenal drinks, and even better vibe. Clarissa is our favorite bartender in Durham - she's amazing. The staff is so helpful and kind - we absolutely love going here and would highly recommend you stop in if you haven't yet 😊

Had the chicken if that is what you call it. Was very dry not much flavor it came with mashed potatoes which you received more of them then the chicken and the broccoli was so hard you couldn't cut it or chew it. In addition there really is not much on the menu to choose from. Never again! I see the owner responded but he didn't address the issues of why the chicken was so dry and fit in the palm of your hand or why you couldn't or eat the broccoli. Oh you have chicken wings I believe it was 2 wings for like $15.00 that is ridiculous or the lamb for $45.00. If you can't respond to the original complaint than don't respond at all. Your food at the restaurant is HORRIBLE!
