Pastor Lavarin,
I just saw your speech to the North Carolina politicians on FB threads where your referenced the scriptures found in Isaiah 10 and Micah 6:8. I live in Texas and I just wanted to reach out and THANK YOU for speaking and standing on the TRUE DOCTRINE found only in the WORD OF GOD. We know that Biblical Wisdom sounds FOOLISH to the UNBELIEVERS. And I lift up Proverbs 21:1 over all those in positions of authority governing our nation. God is our King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s. He's Faithful and Just in all His ways and He ALONE is worthy of ALL GLORY, HONOR AND PRAISE🙌🏾🙌🏾 May God continue to Bless you, your family and the entire congregation of First Calvary Baptist Church.

Literally the most positive and fun church I've ever been too. Powerful, loving, compassionate, and direct. They made my family and I feel welcome. I personally love the direction the Reverend is going with his church.

Great church, warm an welcoming people, pastor also very welcoming. This was my first time, brought here by my two sons and felt like it was home. Will definitely return!! A whole lot of support, activities through the congregation. Music choices are great as well.

Found this church online about 2 years ago when I relocated from California back to my home state of North Carolina. Still recovering from impact of COVID like most churches. So attendance does not appear to be what it was pre-pandemic. I enjoy the service every time, no exaggeration. Preaching comes straight from the BIBLE with great application. The current transition from the outgoing, retiring pastor to the incoming new pastor has been seamless. Not the messiness that can come with these transitions. Music ministry is "off the hook". Incredible mix of music (hymns, contemporary gospel...) sung with such authenticity and genuine heart of praise. Not a show, buy a true ministry. Love the way the singing complements the message from the pastors.
I haven't joined yet. I say I will visit other churches first, but hate to miss out on the service at First Calvary.
Only suggestion would be to continue to expand/improve the online presentation of services.

The services were very inspirational, healing and spirit filled! I love my sisters and brothers in christ. 😇❤🙏
