The food was very good and the menu was very diverse. I think the workers struggle with English so that's something to look out for. The workers were very nice though. The steak was really good. The steak burrito also tasted really good and was well-cooked. The bakery looks excellent and the donut had a great flavor and consistency.

The food is so affordable and delicious. The chicken was seasoned far better than I could make myself. They gave me lots of extra salsa because I asked, and my total came to like $12 maybe. You can’t get lunch for much cheaper than that, and for this quality.
The service was also very quick. Maybe I waited 10 to 15 minutes, and it was really busy!
There’s a massive parking lot for free parking. There are indoor and outdoor tables.

Esmeralda's Cafe is a hidden gem. My husband loved asking about the Honduran goods on the menu and the staff was so friendly about it and told us all about Honduran breakfast food and tradition. Nice hearty, hot, breakfast plates had more than enough food and lots of variety. Everything was fresh and the coffee here is particularly good. I like ordering the plain latte or cappuccino and they do have good donuts here too. If you want something more American like pancakes and fresh toast they have those things too and everything is really well made. They cook eggs perfectly to order. The restaurant is clean and quiet. Every time I go there are families there enjoying their meals. I love visiting here and it quickly became one of our favorite hearty breakfast places. Food is stellar and flavorful, fresh and decadent.

Honestly, despite the heat and humidity inside the cafe, it was a really pleasant experience. We did have to get ours to go because it was almost hotter and more humid on the inside of the restaurant than the outside. But the coffee was amazing. I had a cafe mocha in. My boyfriend had a drip coffee, that was quite strong. He also had a yeast donut that he said was good and I had something similar to a chocolate pain, but it was more cakey. I really liked the whole setup, it was kind of like a bar and a cafe and a to-go space all in one. It was super efficient and the cashier that helped us was very polite. I would absolutely love to go back, maybe when they have live music. I cannot wait to try all of the actual food. We just came here for coffee today.

I’ve been at this place a couple of times and I do like the food. I also believe the service is fine… as long as is not busy. Last time I was there the server came and got our drinks order, asked if knew what we were getting to eat but we need a minute. She got us the drinks but before getting back to get the food order some other people got seated and their got their food. That was about 45 minutes after we sat down.
