We had our wedding at Elodie Farms on 10.19.19. Elodie Farms is a bright, beautiful, and cozy goat farm. It really felt like the perfect venue for our wedding (especially considering my wife's obsession with goats!). Owners Sandra and Ted were extremely accommodating and responsive while working with us. The farm itself was so beautiful, especially with the Fall-time foliage during our October wedding. Sandra invited us to one of their monthly (phenomenal) farm dinners to become more familiar with their facilities, which we greatly appreciated. Sandra and Ted constructed a covered pavilion which was the perfect dance floor when the day was done. Our guests loved interacting with the goats during our cocktail hour-- it definitely made the day feel more special. And we were honored to have one of their most personable goats, Frankie, serving as our ring-bearer during our wedding ceremony. We definitely would recommend Elodie to any other couples planning small weddings and seeking beautiful, outdoor venues! We hope to return for more farm dinners and reliving the memories of our wedding. Another note: Because it's an unconventional wedding venue, I'd advise other couples to be aware and be prepared that it will be a little more work setting up a wedding here - we had to bring in toilets and other rentals. However, we were up for the task, and we would 100% do it again!

I cannot day enough about this business. They produce the greatest goat cheese I’ve ever tasted. They put on some fantastic events (highly recommend the farm dinners). And they customer service is truly top notch. Please give them a try. You won’t regret it!!

The chèvre from Elodie Farms is truly the best around! And I love getting the Fleur Verte.....chevre in delicious olive oil with herbs....it keeps for an amazing long time. Order it online during Covid for a Durham pick up or I emailed them when I was near by and they placed it in the farm mailbox for a contact free pick up! Has long been one of my favorite farm vendors!

Highly recommended. Booked a private tour for my family after Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful experience. Sandra and Ted truly are amazing individuals. The kids loved the goats and JoJo the donkey! We’ll definitely do it again next year.

Had a wonderful time for my husband’s birthday dinner. Toured the goat farm, had the best cheese, and a five course meal. I highly recommend it. Only note is that it is a long evening! 6:00 tour, 7:00 dinner & it concluded at 10:00.

Went on a farm tour and had a wonderful time! The owners were really easy to talk to, and quite knowledgeable about their animals. The goats were adorable and seemed very happy / well taken care of. Cheese samples were delicious -- highly recommend it.

The monthly dinners are amazing!! Most of the reviews on here are about how wonderful goats and farm tours are, but if you have not gone to one of their monthly dinners (every second Saturday) you are missing out. An amazing dinner cooked by a chef trained at some of the best area restaurants (Ted the co-owner of the farm along with his wife Sandra). The dinner is set in the main farmhouse which gives it an authentic rustic feel which pairs perfectly with the dishes all made from ingredients sourced from local farms and businesses. All around an incredible and delicious experience made all the better by your amazing and friendly hosts for the night.

This is indeed a lovely gem located just north of Durham and worth finding. The farm is a 'working farm' and has a comfortable, real, and inviting feel. The goats are beautiful and lovingly cared for. The cheese, I might add, seriously won our whole party over--even the one 'I don't like goat cheese' holdout. Definitely look for them! We attended the Jun 10th dinner and it was delightful. Imagine a well prepared 6-course dinner, a warm but temperate June evening, an amazing absence of flying pests--except of course for a wonderful abundance of lightening bugs, and a relaxed & happy crowd of about 45 people--doesn't get much better. Elodie gets a high recommend!
