I just went to Dormant Plant Parlor for the first time and had the BEST experience. The plant selection was incredible and the prices extremely reasonable. I've been searching for a mature song of India and they had so many choices in many price ranges! The owner was the sweetest human and gave me such great advice and was incredibly patient while I was choosing my plant. They also had their cute dog Bruno there! I will absolutely be back. This is my new favorite plant store in the triangle!

Such an amazing shop! I was visiting Durham for my twin’s masters thesis performance and did a little research for a local small business to support. Dormant Plant Parlor completely surpassed my expectations. Day was the nicest human ever and the flowers were absolutely stunning, I requested a spooky kind of arrangement and was blown away. This was also the day before Valentine’s Day, which I’m sure was a crazy time, and the Dormant team was so gracious and accommodating with my procrastinating self. 1000000 stars. I’ll be back for graduation flowers and wish I could move this plant parlor to my town

This place is my favorite to get flowers in Durham. Twice already I've ordered flowers and each time, Day, who runs the shop, put together stunning bouquets for me. Day even let me borrow a vase to take so the flowers wouldn't wilt since I had a long trip ahead. I'm a returning customer.

Day gets the dream done! I am constantly amazed by the floral work Day creates. It is clean, intentional, and just all around really stunning work. He is excellent at communicating and making sure the final product is up to your expectations. I will absolutely be coming back

Truly the best! Beautiful, poetic floral arrangements in the cutest setting. I feel transported to somewhere special when I'm in this space. The Dormant team has great energy and infuse this little jewel of a space with plants, florals and pure magic. I love the super hard to find, high quality incense there too!
