Not a good look when a business posts that they’re open until 6 and you go in at 5:45 to a barista who rolls their eyes at you and says “it depends on what you want me to make for you” to determine whether you’re worth the bother. (I wanted a cup of hot tea to go and double checked their hours before deciding to walk there from home, then felt so unwelcome I decided not to place an order). I worked in food service for a couple decades of my life and just don’t get this kind of attitude.

Love their atmosphere and hot drinks. Unfortunately they’re iced drinks don’t have much flavor for me even when drinking before the ice melts. Sometimes tastes watery. The hot drinks tho have more flavor and are usually pretty fluffy. Expensive but worth a try at some point.
I believe I got the amuleto with caramel drizzle and a ham and cheese croissant.

I looked to find somewhere close and this place came up. I can’t get over how great the coffee was! I had a coffee with a shot of espresso and it tasted amazing! I can’t imagine how good the other coffees are. The atmosphere was fantastic, it made want to just sit, do some work and stay there all day. The pastry was fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back soon.

Easy 5/5. I highly recommend this place for a quality cup or black coffee with full tasting notes. I bought a bag of beans and took them home, great quality as well.

My favorite coffee beans in Durham but as of this post too expensive for me now. Understandably their prices have gone up. A $5 plain cappuccino is a good indicator of overall prices I think. The inside is cute, and occasionally a good reading or study spot, but it is popular and there are few spots with outlets if you are bringing a laptop, something to keep in mind. I always have great service.

There are coffee shops, and then there are gems. Cocoa Cinnamon would be said gem. The cappuccinos and lattes are wonderful, as expected, but the soul of CC is something special. Don’t forget to indulge in the homemade pastries.

A small but fun cafe that makes for a cool gathering spot for friends or colleagues. A wide variety of gourmet coffees and teas. A nice selection of tasty homemade snacks and treats are available. Many healthy choice options. Our beverages were served warm, but not piping hot. We were a large party and ordered many drinks. Service is at the counter, fast and friendly.

If you're coming here to read or buy a book, just sit in a cozy vibey nerdy place or give or take an interview -this is the place to be. The coffees (We took cappuccino and cotardo) are meh, not strong and don't really give you the caffeine hit even if you took two espresso shots in one cup. So get your coffee from somewhere else and then come and sit here. The churros were fresh and hot okay in taste, the additional dipping chocolate cost is probably too much, it should be complimentary with the churros.

The coffee shop in a warehouse like building set up. The staff are courteous. Americano was great. Was pretty busy for a Sunday evening mostly from the students that lends a creative vibe

Great vibes. Casual comfortable seating. Top notch food and coffee or cocoa drinks. Made with fresh, inventive flavourings if desired. Desserts are vegan and not overly sweet. Would come here every day if I lived nearby. A true treat.
