This church has a really big God! They value Christian Education and putting it into action by serving others in the community. New and active youth group, an incredible quilting group (half a dozen ladies whose goal is to give away 200 quilts this year!), gave about $2,000 in Hurricane Relief, won the silver sneaker award for raising money for the CROP Walk, Church in the Park & God’s Work Our Hands Sunday were awesome. The men are really good cooks too - food filled fellowship hours every Sunday, and a full brunch hosted by the men’s group on the first Sunday of the month. Great music too - gifted director with guitar, drums, brass, and choir! They have a wonderful Music Camp for the local community too. If ministry and discipleship are about building relationship with God, each other, and your neighbors in the community, then ministry and discipleship are happening here!

Great congregation, attended for Ash Wednesday while I was on a work trip and was warmly welcomed by members.

Both of my kids, aged 8 and 6, LOVED Music Camp with Christus Victor. My younger child, who is usually very reluctant when leaving me, was excited to go every day. He loved all the instruments, his group leader, and all the crafts. At the end of the week, he made sure he was signed up for next year. I should add, he has done other summer camps at other nearby locations, and never had that reaction at the end! Thank you Christus Victor, Pastor Ben, and all the volunteers for loving these kids and making learning about Jesus fun and engaging!
