One of the last left traditional and fun parks in Durham. Everything else is being made accessible for a small minority of disabled children by replacing entire playground features with flat platforms with knobs and clickers, and short slides. Monkey bars, tall slides, climbing and jumping features are being removed affecting hundreds of thousands of children in surrounding areas. Bicycle paths are being closed off or filled in with wood chips.
This is one of the last good parks left. Durham Parks should add"inclusive" features, rather than removing physically healthy obstacle courses for fully abled kids.

Very nice park shaded with a lot of big trees. There are picnic tables, benches, and plenty of sitting area. There are swings, slides, rocking horse, and a stage. Great park with street parking.

Very cute, has picnic tables lots of benches, oodles of charm and all shade. Just lacks parking.
Also, there are some garden boxes that just need some dirt and impatiens would thrive there.

A really lovely, nicely shaded park. It stays nice and cool during the summers, and it’s all enclosed to keep the little ones contained. As a bonus, there’s a super cute stage area too!
The only drawbacks are the street parking and no bathrooms.
