The Bulkogi food truck was founded in 2009 by the So family with the vision of bringing Korean culture and cuisine to the streets of the Triangle region. One of the first major food trucks to operate at the time, Bulkogi has been beloved for years for the authentic Korean barbecue taste and fusion menu. One of the anchor tenants in Boxyard RTP, Bulkogi is now available in the Research Triangle Park in a shipping container space located on the second floor. Please always check their website for the most up-to-date hours they're open.

Small place, great food and wonderful staff. They made a mistake on one of my orders and before I could get my food they had already fixed the mistake with no hassle.

This place is out of this world, I made my own bowl with spicy beef and the portion size is great for the price. Flavor going crazy with this place highly recommended.

I live Downtown so I visit the Bulkogi at the Can Opener often and it does not disappoint! I got the rice bowl with chicken and it’s delicious as usual and enough! Thanks to Larry who helped me during this visit. Great attitude and customer service!

I had no idea what to expect but the fries with spicy pork were delicious! The fries were $18 with the pork so it felt a little pricey at first but when I got the fries I realized the portions are HUGE. I had plenty of leftovers and will be thinking of these fries for a few days 😋

Came to the Boxyard RTP for the first time and this was the most appealing option in my opinion. They have iPad order station then you can pick up the order at the counter. Tap to pay available. I ordered the rice bowl with spicy chicken. I also tried the spicy aloe and the Jay sauce. Both were amazing . The bowl was generous and had plenty of chicken, rice and veggies in each spoonful. The sauces added a nice kick to the meal as well. The staff was amazing and the seating is plentiful inside and out. Outside seating also has the heaters so if the weather is a bit chilly, you can still stay warm. Highly recommend this establishment.

The service was fast and independent. You order from and iPad and wait for your food to be served up. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very chill.

This is my new favorite place at boxyard! I ordered the bibimbap with beef, and it was incredible! I make bulgogi at home, often, and this was worth paying for! The portions were generous, and the flavors were bold. Pickled diakon was delicious, and the food came out fast. Not to mention the perfect sunny side up egg. 10/10 will be back! Located upstairs!

Went to their food truck in Bond Brothers in Cary on Saturday. They were out of spicy pork during dinner time around 8 pm which was strange. The food was really good, well cooked, flavorful, spicy, full of sauce. One bowl is enough to feed 2 people.

Great food at a beautiful location. Ordering off the kiosk was a little tricky as some of the signs in the restaurant were a little confusing. That being said, the Korean fusion food was stellar. I recommend the bulgogi fries with curry chicken.
