The food was delicious and tasted fresh. It was very hot when served, and service was good. You pick your meal and pay before seating. The dining area wasn't too good of an atmosphere it looked more like a storage area. The place was stacked with boxes . -
Some of the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had from one of these kind of local Chinese restaurants. I’ve included a photo in my review however it doesn’t do the food justice I’m afraid. Their Crab Rangoon is also top notch and actually has bits of artificial crab in it instead of simply being a ball of fried cream cheese. The egg rolls earn their keep as well!
The lady behind the counter is friendly as well. -
I ordered the Pu Pu Platter and Hunan Beef online. It took a little more time than what was expected and the server was really nice and explained the longer wait so it wasn't that big of on issue.
I got my order and everything was correct for my order. The price was on average with other chinese restaurants.
The Pu Pu Platter was decent for all the fried appetizers and I was really looking to see how they have their shrimp toast. The wings and BBQ ribs were the best part. The shrimp toast could of been better and I'll try some again in the future to see if it was just a one off.
The Hunan Beef was very flavorful. The beef had a smokey taste that wasn't overpowering and the vegetables weren't too sweet and firm as I expected. I think the dish was really balanced and I think I'll ask for it to be spicier next time.
I would definitely order from here again and try something different next time. -
One word YUMMY!! Got a whole lunch shrimp egg foo young shrimp fried rice with big and a lot of shrimp for $10.70. Plus a soda and an egg roll. -
When you ask for garlic sauce they only give you a tablespoon. When you ask for extra sauce for your General Tso chicken they never give you a decent amount to cover all of your chicken and then they charge you for adding the extra sauce. Also if you ask for a plate they charge you .10 cents. I am shaking my head because I had better Chinese food. Bamboo House is okay, they are cheap either way adding sauce or gravy to your food.
