I had reserved a car for 10:30 but could not pick it up until 1230 because the line was that long. There had been a snowstorm in the area that had really messed up the flight schedule so that was part of the problem, and the other part was that they didn’t add a second person to the counter until the line was almost 60 people long. The customer service was lovely once I got to them, and the car was mostly clean – looked like it had been detailed quickly – but it was relatively new and in good shape and got me where I needed to go. I was able to change my return location with little difficulty. -
Only reason I did not give 1 star is because the employees are nice. Otherwise, this experience is awful. The lines are terrible and stretch out the door. This means you have to wait for an hour in 90+ degree heat.
In addition, the car I received was disgusting. The exterior was not washed and the inside was clearly not vacuumed. However, since I had waited over 90 minutes to get my car in the heat, I did not have the will to go back and ask for a few car.
As a business traveler to Raleigh, I will be going somewhere else next time. Even if you have to pay more, go somewhere else with more than four stars. It will be worth it. -
After returning from a 36+ hour journey home from Thailand, I was completely exhausted, jet-lagged, and not feeling well. I had a layover in Raleigh to pick up my 9-year-old son before catching another flight home.
I rented a car from Budget, and the process was smooth from the start. The front desk associate was friendly and helpful, making pickup quick and easy.
After picking up my son and getting a little rest, we headed back to the airport. When I returned the vehicle, I was greeted by Leatrice. She scanned my rental and pointed us toward the shuttle. Seeing me, my son, and all our luggage, she noticed how tired I was and kindly offered to drive us directly to the terminal.
That simple act of kindness meant so much after such a long trip. It was one of the most thoughtful customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Even my son commented on how nice she was and how much he appreciated her helping us.
Leatrice turned an exhausting travel day into a memorable experience. Budget is fortunate to have an employee who genuinely cares about people. Thank you, Leatrice, for your exceptional service and kindness. -
I had a great experience with Budget Rental from start to finish. The customer service was excellent, and the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Denisha was absolutely amazing — she managed everything so well and made sure I was taken care of with no hassle at all. She was patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service.
Mrs. Rhonda and Mrs. Miram were also wonderful and very professional. They made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. It’s rare to come across a team that works together so efficiently while still making customers feel valued and respected. Their positive attitudes and willingness to help made the experience even better.
As a Fastbreak Elite member, I travel often and have dealt with many rental companies over the years, and this location truly stood out. The vehicle was clean, the pickup and return process was quick, and the customer service exceeded my expectations.
