It’s a big birthday for a Durham institution. The Scrap Exchange turns 35 and this will be a celebration of all the ways the Scrap Exchange has been a part of our community.
They are bringing “the Scrap” downtown with music, cardboard art, a puppet performance, birthday treats, a community craft project, and more.
Performers include Tarish Pipkins of Jeghetto’s Entertainment, Emma Jane and DJ MARRS. The Artisan Market at 305 presents a pop-up installation, "The Ministry of Cardboard," which originated at The Scrap Exchange.
