Queer & Trans Splash

Queer & Trans Splash is an Open Swim for Durham's LGBTQ+ community, and it's exactly as simple as it sounds. Two pools, a slide, a diving board, and four hours. Swim laps, take the slide, or sit on the edge with your feet in the water and catch up with people you don't see often enough. Drop by for an hour or stay for all four.

All ages, and that means all ages. Queer and trans kids and teens are welcome, and so are their grown-up family.

Wear whatever you're comfortable swimming in. They have all-gender, single-use restrooms, including one with a shower, along with locker rooms.

It's free, and you don't have to be a member to swim. Bring the people you'd love to have a pool day with!
