Bill Oakley Presents: An American Culinary Curiosity Dinner

Former Simpsons showrunner and History Channel food-history regular Bill Oakley hosts a seven-course dinner exploring regional American dishes, delicacies that are hard to find outside their hometowns and are rarely, if ever, served in Durham. Cooking it all: Phoebe Lawless, one of the most acclaimed chefs in the Triangle, a multiple-time James Beard Award semifinalist and the force behind beloved Durham institutions Scratch and The Lakewood. Phoebe prepares expertly crafted dishes inspired by Bill's travels while Bill hosts with a multimedia slideshow diving deep into the weird world of regional food. Seven surprise courses, large and small, including dessert (we cannot accommodate special orders or food allergies).
