Pilobolus brings a new work, Virtuous & Vicious, and some classics to ADF this summer. The company celebrates the centennial anniversary of the Martha Graham Dance Company with Lamentation Variations Project, an interpretation of Graham’s seminal work, Lamentation. The thematic richness of On the Nature of Things draws from a tapestry of intellectual, historical, and artistic sources, specifically the philosophies and works of Da Vinci, Milton, Vivaldi, and Stravinsky. Nocturne explores how real-life noises infect dreams and vice versa. Day Two is a classic, high-energy piece that depicts the second day of the creation of the world.
