Lovely atmosphere, nice natural fabric clothing, and emphasis on sustainable is great. The prices are fair for what the clothing is (some USA made, all natural materials, not many - if any synthetics). The open feminism, inclusive politics are warming. Staff is also nice. Took off one star as I would have liked to see story about the non-US American/BIPOC/indigenous artisan crafts (i.e. masks, jewelry) for sale. At least a small sign of where they're from (there are small signs with photos of some local vendors/artists with their pieces) to give a face or message about those makers. -
I just found Tigress, I was blown away. So cute. Amazing selection of sustainable fashion and artisan gifts. I bought a dress , shirt, pants and earrings. The next week I took consignment ! I am so excited to share a wonderful review for this shop. -
Have been supporting this shop for a while because I liked their mission, but recently realized their store policy is not customer-friendly.
I got earrings for a friend and was unable to return or exchange them after realizing she doesn’t have her ears pierced. I was unaware their policy excludes returns or exchanges. :/ (The exception is clothing which can only be exchanged for store credit. Pretty expensive options for items you can’t change your mind on… Not a fan.) -
Tigress is my favorite store in The Triangle. The moment you walk in, it feels more like stepping into an art gallery than a shop. Everything is so thoughtfully curated, and every corner feels inspiring to move through.
Rachael, the owner, deeply values slow fashion, fair trade, and supporting indie artists, and you can feel that intention woven into the entire space. I really appreciate the way she shows up in the world and pours her whole heart into creating something that feels meaningful, beautiful, and deeply cared for; for the community and beyond. -
Tigress is beautifully curated and thoughtful, and there is something for everyone. The ethos and heart of this place definitely stands out. Lou was amazing and such a big help in answering all my questions as I walked through the store! I found the sweetest dress and will definitely be back.
