If you’re looking to add a little more spice to your life this winter, check out the new fast casual Mexican restaurant Tacos Number Juan located in Hope Valley Farms. With an affordable menu, including deals like .99 cent Taco Tuesdays, it could become a regular haunt. If the flavors taste familiar, it’s because it’s owned by the same restaurant group behind Fonda Lupita, which has a strong reputation for quality Mexican food. There are tortas and quesabirrias, ACPs, burritos, and bowls, not to mention signature sides like chorizo queso dip, chicken rolls and loaded fries. The Tacos and Burritos are really tasty. The Queso has peppers and not my fav. The price is good. The dining area is a little loud with music/base but is interesting and seating is comfy. Several areas to sit in. And has free air hockey. The drive through is awesome. Not particularly fast at the drive through but no longer than 3-4 minutes.

Although my favs are the guacamole/chips, grilled chicken and birria Quesadillas, I have yet to taste anything I didn’t like. The atmosphere is great for a snack with the girls or a quick date night. The customer service is amazing, professional and friendly. Shout out to Ery for the outstanding drive through experience, as well as entertaining my weird journey to loving guacamole lol!

Jillian with Offline - Delicious food. Got the birria ramen and loaded fries with carnitas. Both were fantastic. Their margarita special on Monday is unbeatable too and super tasty.

In take away from this place regularly but have also been meaning to dine in. The food is fresh and delicious, not soggy or overcooked. I don’t have any photos because I usually eat it rapidly! The portions are generous and the prices are fair. Andy is friendly and takes care of customers. Don’t miss out!

Wonderful takeout options! I love the food here, as they pack alot into your bowls to make sure you get what you pay for! Especially with the customer service! Ery was wonderful with allowing the taste of their signitare juices so I could pick the best! Of course it was their hottest drink, the pinneapple juice!

I would have to say the most recent burrito I ordered was the best burrito I’ve had… EVER. A great blend of proteins, veggies, and cheese/sour cream.
Another hit that my family loves are the churros.
Taco Number Juan is one of the most consistent places on providing amazing quality food.

New place recommended by a friend. It's a quick spot to eat, with sit down and drive thru kind of like a drive thru diner. The staff are pleasant, but they got my order wrong (missed a taco), sold me a horchata but couldn't fill it up cuz they didn't prep extra and then refunded me for it, the limes were dried out, the tacos (pastor was well cooked, chorizo was little too tangy, asada was a little dry meat, American taco with chicken was very good). Overall, you can get 2 tacos for $3 each and fill up, as they are standard sized (forgot to take pics on all the order confusion), but I don't think I'll come back.

Ery took the time to explain to us the menu, the style, and his personal favorites. We went with birria ramen, chicken rolls, loaded fries and fish and shrimp tacos. Everything was fast hot and fresh. I will definitely be recommending and going back

I only had the one birria taco the beef one and it was good I should’ve tried more but was stuffed. I had the churros and it was delicious definitely a go to for dessert. I also tried two juices the hibiscus and tamarind. The better to me was the hibiscus

Great new (relatively) taco joint in Durham. Gotta say, way better than the awful Wendy's that was in this space before. Staff was super nice and helpful. Good menu selections. Good beverage selections (including beer, liquor, cocktails). Food was delivered fast and hot.
Salsa bar was nice but only offered three salsa options. A few more would be nice. BUT they also had limes, radishes, quick pickled cucumbers, and AMAZING grilled jalepenos on the salsa bar.
Wife had an asada burrito. I had three different tacos. We also got chips and guac and a couple of beers. Everything was really good. Best tacos ever? Nope. But pretty darned good.
The atmosphere has a hybrid feel --- part fast food... part hang out and drink lounge. Kinda dig it. And they have an air hockey table. Go figure. 😁

Today was my first time trying this new Mexican restaurant in my area. The service and food were awesome. We used their drive thru..
My daughter and I ordered the chicken burrito combo with a lemonade. The burrito is huge and very tasty. The chips were fresh, and the sauce they gave is very delicious. We will be returning again in the near future. And will tell others about them.
