Located in the American Tobacco Campus, State of Golf opened in June 2024. With three indoor golf simulators available for booking, State of Golf merges an indoor golf experience with entertainment. The world-class simulators also allow you to play a wide range of sports and games in addition to golf. There is also a full bar in the facility, creating a genuinely casual, social atmosphere.

I visited a few months ago as part of an Offline event and it was fun. Instead of golf, I enjoyed basketball on the simulator with a group I had just met. I would love to go back and try some other games. My cocktail was delicious too - an adult hot chocolate 😋 I don’t remember the liquors used (I asked to mix them in the drink and it was the best move). Great staff, intimate space, nice option for downtown Durham👌🏾

A great place to hit golf balls and play full swing golf games. Works really well for people with vastly different levels of golf skill & experience. You can play 18 holes if simulated golf in an hour.

This place hit all the marks, from ages 2-70 we had something to do for everyone. Megan and Brandon were awesome bartenders too for the adults!

Megan is awesome, amazing ambiance, and a lot of fun if you enjoy sports. The bar has a ton of options with daily specials. Great spot in Durham!
