Great Sikh Temple, very clean, peaceful, quiet, offers free food (langar), great place of worship & prayer. -
Big Premises and very well maintained. Its not easy to maintain such a big premises so well but they have done a good job. Divided in two floors, below for langar and above for prayer. Both halls have a seating capacity of minimum 300 each. In prayer hall there are chairs for those who can't sit down and same in the langar hall both arrangements are there, on floor as well as table & chair.

Peaceful feeling visiting the gurudwara especially on Sundays, connecting with the community and the langar -
Visited during samagam. Very well arranged for spiritual congregation & langer (food). -
My experience is of my last few visits couple of years back. It was the time when farmers movement / agitation was going on in india. And just fyi, I am a Hindu.
The above is needed for the context.
So since my childhood i am a regular at Sikh Gurudwaras whereever I lived. Primarily because of my amazing sikh neighbors or friends I have got over the years. When I used to live in Boston and Detroit before NC, i was pretty regular on Sundays, participated in several seva sessions etc. In short, I like the peacefulness and inclusiveness of Gurudwaras in general.
However, since I moved here in RDU, i tried to visit this place around 4 times. All 4 times there will be atleast 1 person, (sometimes more) asking my full name (including my last name). And no, its not for general chitchats or conversations. Its for making sure I dont belong there. The look on their faces would convey the same.
On my last visit ( few years back ), i brought my father in law along with me, hoping for a better response from them. Unfortunately, somene would do the same with my fil as well.
My patience died when on the same day, there was a guy who openly spoke against India and in support of all that Khalistani non sense from the mic. Thankfully someone stopped him, but immedietely after that, another guy did the same. (It was the farmers agitation time remember).
Probably that was the last straw for me. I havent visited this Gurudwara since. Probably once the Morrisville Gurudwara opens, I will visit that.
In the end I feel its the people who make a place better. My experience over the years with so many Gurudwaras have been so amazing. But this particular one is an odd one out.
