The entire staff was wonderful! Shuttle service was reliable for my mom and all her friends! The food was amazing! Please, take the time to order a hot meal, the Executive Chef has done a phenomenal job with his team. When I tell you the hotel staff went above & beyond, that is an understatement. I only spent a few nights of my mom’s stay with her and they impressed me very much with their hospitality. We were here for an event, the space was perfect for us and again, the food was deliciously prep. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel-Raleigh Durham Airport and I must say, Trayvon Cole truly went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Cole’s warm and genuine hospitality immediately made us feel welcome. He took the time to ensure that my colleagues and I were well taken care of, going out of his way to attend to every need with professionalism and care.
Mr. Cole’s dedication to excellent customer service is truly commendable—he consistently exceeded our expectations and made sure our stay was smooth and comfortable. His positive attitude and proactive approach not only made us feel valued but also reflect greatly on the caliber of staff at Sheraton.
He absolutely deserves a raise for his outstanding work, as he not only makes the hotel look good but also creates a memorable experience for every guest. Mr. Cole is a shining example of exceptional service, and I can't thank him enough for making our visit so special. Sheraton is lucky to have him on their team! -
Contemporary, comfortable, and updated with clever room features like the work/dining table with height that adjusts electronically, a stylish overhead swinglight you can move while seated at the table, and wonderful underlighting that provides a soft glow in the room. The shower is fantastic with two shower heads (including a shower wand with horizontal water flow) and fabulous products from Gilchrist and Soames. This hotel is built for conferences and other big events with many first floor meeting rooms of various sizes— from a quiet closed off sitting room, to rooms with stadium-style seating, and conference spaces.It would also be wonderful for weddings or dances. The outdoor pool provides an oasis setting in a garden with plenty of seating and the hotel has an arrangement with FITNESS CONNECTION that is mere steps away. Guests need only show their room key for access to this full-sized gym and all its amenities. The elegant SEASONS RESTAURANT has a menu with many delectable options (I hear their Sunday brunch is amazing!) and there is also a beautiful lounge as well as a small cafe with sandwiches, snacks, and Starbucks coffee— all on the main level. I found a “club room” on the 9th floor where breakfast and coffee are provided in the morning. The only reason I don’t give the SHERATON IMPERIAL 5 stars is because of the parking— which must be paid through an app. It didn’t work for me, even after several attempts and working with hotel staff (SHY at the front desk was very patient and kind). This is not only frustrating as a guest, but I don’t like the way it puts staff members in an awkward situation as guests may vent on them as parking is usually included (except in downtown areas which this was not). Aside from that, my stay was lovely and I found all the staff members to be friendly and attentive.

This hotel was substandard at best. Our room reeked of smoke, but we arrived late and were too tired to ask for a change. The front desk person ignored us for a while when we were the only people in line. We had to find the elevators on our own. The shuttle service is unreliable. The shuttle driver was super nice, but he had no idea how to sign us in to take the shuttle. We were ignored by the front desk, then told to sign in on our phone, (we had prepaid for off-site airport parking there and the shuttle was included). It was so complicated that it took another hotel employee to finally help us sign in. Long story short, we missed the first shuttle even though we were twenty minutes ahead of it. Then, when we arrived at the airport upon return we had to wait 45 minutes. We called eight times before anyone answered, and were told it would be fifteen minutes. 40 minutes later we called again, and they finally arrived. The ice maker did not work on our floor, and we had to search for one that worked. (No sign on the broken one.) The hotel itself is tired and in need of a spruce up at best. Not up to the standards of other Marriott hotels that we have stayed. The only good thing about it was the location being close to the airport, but with the shuttle issue, we would never stay here again. Also, I mistakenly put up a five star review for the hotel on their site (confusing it with another hotel from the trip that was fantastic.) None of my attempts to get that review deleted have worked. I do NOT recommend staying here.

This hotel has made the list as one of my favorites. My family and I had our family reunion here over memorial day weekend and I can’t find enough words to describe what a joy it was staying here. The staff were so friendly and sweet. They genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time and that we did! The food was phenomenal and I definitely recommend trying it out (you can’t normally say that about hotel food!) The rooms were spacious and clean and the main lobby followed. We really did enjoy ourselves and we appreciate each and every staff member for being so helpful, patient and accommodating. Only elevator wasn’t working but there were 3 others that were available to use and they move pretty fast. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I know my family did also. Thank you folks!
